The technique operates by receiving a query via a search interface presentation, and using a prefix tree data structure to retrieve candidate resource descriptors that match the query. The candidate resource descriptors are data items that describe different types of candidate resources. The technique further includes: generating feature information that describes the candidate resource descriptors; using a machine-trained ranking model to generate scores associated with the candidate resource descriptors, based on the feature information; sorting the candidate resource descriptors based on the scores, to provide sorted resource descriptors; and generating output information that represents a selected set of resource descriptors drawn from the sorted resource descriptors, for presentation via the search interface presentation.

Preferred freeze-thaw stabilizers are polyols (e.g., glycerin), sugars (e.g., sucrose), polar aprotic solvents (e.g., dimethyl sulfoxide) and amphoteric compounds (e.g., lauryl dimethyl amine oxide). The freeze-thaw stabilizers are particularly useful in furniture care, shoe care and auto care cleaning and/or polishing products including therein water, hydrocarbon solvent(s), nonionic emulsifier(s) and additives, such as film former(s), surfactant(s), fragrance component(s) and preservative(s).

The material is suitable for the application of hemostasis in irregular bleeding such as solid organs in vitro or in vivo and diffuse bleeding.

A glassy-crystal phase is an intermediate metastable state formed in the change process from a high temperature plastic-crystal phase to an ordered crystal phase, which can be obtained by cooling the high temperature plastic-crystal disordered state of the barocaloric materials quickly. Rapid cooling makes the high temperature disordered state of the material supercooled and frozen, thereby avoiding the full oriented order that generally occurs at low temperature. The material is applied with a small pressure, which can achieve the change from the glassy-crystal phase to the ordered crystal phase, thereby achieving heat release.
