Publication number: 20250088268Abstract: This application provides an optical module, an electronic device, a communication system, and a related processing method. The optical module includes: a first processing unit, and a sampling unit, a sampled information storage unit, and a fault information storage unit that are separately electrically connected to the first processing unit. The sampling unit is configured to collect first sampled parameters, and store the first sampled parameters in the sampled information storage unit by using the first processing unit. The first processing unit is configured to: when identifying alarm information, read the first sampled parameters in the sampled information storage unit, determine, based on the first sampled parameters, fault type information corresponding to the alarm information, and store the fault type information in the fault information storage unit. The optical module does not need to transmit a large amount of sampled data to the electronic device.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 22, 2024Publication date: March 13, 2025Inventors: Changzheng SU, Baoping MAO, Bing ZHOU, Dong WANG, Qiang ZHONG

Publication number: 20250086334Abstract: Techniques are described for using data capture devices at a building to automatically generate a building floor plan and associate absolute location data with it, such as by associating separately captured GPS data or other absolute location data with the floor plan, and for presenting a model of the generated floor plan using the associated absolute location data (e.g., at a map position corresponding to the associated absolute location data). In some situations, the presenting of such a building floor plan includes showing varying levels of detail about structural aspects of the building interior and other interior aspects, such as based on the map zoom level and/or other factors. In addition, such presenting of a building floor plan may include automatically determining and using data about surroundings of the building, such as to provide information about views from the building, about directions to nearby points of interest, etc.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 9, 2023Publication date: March 13, 2025Inventors: Manjunath Narayana, Solon Chen Mao, Romualdo Impas, Sean P. Patent number: 11933678Abstract: A method for determining ambient temperature of a device in a building control system. The method includes obtaining a measurement of ambient temperature from a first temperature sensor of the device and obtaining a measurement of temperature of a processing circuit of the device. These temperature measurements along with a brightness level of a display of the device and a state of a relay of the device are provided as input to a neural network. The neural network is trained to recognize these inputs in order to more accurately determine the ambient temperature of the device. The reading from the first temperature sensor may otherwise be inaccurate due to heat generated by electronic components of the device.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2019Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Johnson Controls Tyco IP Holdings LLPInventors: Bing Mao, Wensu Lu, Xiaoying Lu, Yingchun Xu

Patent number: 9015990Abstract: A culture container includes a container and a cover. The container forms an opening at the top and an external threaded portion around the opening. The cover includes a main body and a flange extending from the main body. An internal threaded portion corresponding to the external threaded portion is formed on the internal surface of the flange. The cover forms a ventilation passage having an opening formed at a free end of the flange facing away from the main body. When the internal threaded portion is threaded with the external threaded portion so as to close the opening of the bottle, the interior of the bottle communicates with exterior via the ventilation passage. Thus, dust is prevented from falling into the bottle via the ventilation passage.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2013Date of Patent: April 28, 2015Inventor: Bing-Mao Li
