  • Patent number: 8643760
Abstract: Image processing methods and systems for handheld devices are provided. First, an image effect is determined. Then, a plurality of preview images is continuously captured by an image capture unit of an electronic device. After the respective preview image is captured, the image effect is applied to the preview image, and the preview image applied with the image effect is displayed in a display unit of the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 8612873
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for operating a displayed area of an electronic map and a recording medium are provided. In the method, a displayed area of an electronic map is displayed first. Then, an indicating object of a point of interest (POI) located outside the displayed area is displayed on an edge of the displayed area towards a direction of the POI with respect to the displayed area. When the indicating object of the POI is selected, the displayed area of the electronic map is changed to the displayed area comprising the POI. Accordingly, users are able to quickly change the displayed area and check a location and related information of each POI in a simple operation manner.

  • Publication number: 20130042468
Abstract: The present invention provides a disassembling tool including a cylinder and a clamping assembly. The cylinder includes two ear members, two pivoting holes, a casing hole and an opening. The clamping assembly includes two pulling arms and a clamping arm. The two pulling arms have a linking relation with the clamping arm. The clamping arm has a teeth section, used for increasing a fixing ability of the clamping arm. After fixing the tie rod in the cylinder, the two pulling arms drive the clamping arm pivot with respect to the pivoting hole. When the clamping arm pivots, the teeth section of the clamping arm clamps the tie rod, forcing the tie rod to rotate and become loosened. Because the clamping arm can completely pivot over the casing hole, the disassembling tool can easily disassemble not only tie rods with various sizes, but tie rods with even smaller sizes.

  • Publication number: 20120186055
Abstract: The present invention provides a wheel cylinder spreader including a main body, a rod, a holding portion, and a control portion. An elongated toothed element is formed on the rod, and a leaning element is disposed on the holding portion. The holding portion can drive the rod to move due to the attachment of the leaning element and the elongated toothed element. Because the contact area of the elongated toothed element and the leaning element is larger and the transmission of force is more direct, the frequency of squeezing the holding portion is decreased and the driving efficiency is promoted. Also, the slipping and the abrasion of the elongated toothed element and the leaning element are prevented. Otherwise, when the rod is not leant by the control portion, the rod tends to move toward a specific direction due to a reposition elastic element.

  • Patent number: 7177334
Abstract: A high power driver system has a predetermined number of driver modules for driving a high power device such as a laser-emitting device. Each driver module has a driver circuit and a corresponding feedback circuit. The driver circuits respectively generate driving currents, and then the driving currents are collected to drive the high power laser-emitting device or other high power devices. In addition, these feedback circuits of the driver modules receive the same detection signal that represents the output power of the high power laser-emitting device. Then, each feedback circuit responds to the same detection signal to generate a feedback signal, respectively, which makes the corresponding driver circuit carry out a feedback action for adjusting the driving currents.

  • Publication number: 20050218351
Abstract: A dust meter includes a duct member having a lower portion formed with an air inlet, and an upper portion formed with an air outlet, and confining an air passage. A heating element is used to heat air in the air passage to result in air flow from the air inlet to the air outlet. A light emitter is operable so as to generate a light beam in the air passage. An optical sensor module includes a light sensor responsive to changes in optical flux in the air passage attributed to dust content of the air that flows from the air inlet to the air outlet. The sensor module generates an electrical signal that varies with the optical flux detected by the light sensor. A processing circuit determines an actual ambient dust concentration by referring the electrical signal from the sensor module to pre-established data in the processing circuit.
