Abstract: A gateway and a data communication system are provided in embodiments of the disclosure. The gateway in the embodiments of the disclosure comprises a processing component, and a plurality of server communication components connected to the processing component, wherein the plurality of server communication components each support different network protocols. The plurality of server communication components are each configured to establish a network connection with a server based on a respective corresponding network protocol. The processing component is configured to select at least two server communication components from the plurality of server communication components; and perform IoT data communication with the server through the at least two server communication components. The embodiments of the disclosure can improve the communication quality of the IoT data communication.
