    Abstract: An earth auger includes a transmission assembly arranged on a connecting base, a motor assembly connected with the transmission assembly and driving the transmission assembly to rotate, a controller arranged at a first side of the transmission assembly and connected with the motor assembly, a control knob and a plurality of indicator lights arranged on a housing, and a gyroscope sensor. The controller controls a rotation of the motor assembly through an on-off of a circuit. Angular velocities and angular acceleration critical values of different gears are set through the control knob. The indicator lights are used to display a current gear, and the gyroscope sensor is arranged on a second side of the transmission assembly. The gyroscope sensor obtains angular velocity information and angular acceleration information, and feedbacks a monitored signal to the controller. When the monitored signal exceeds a preset critical value, the controller stops the motor.
