  • Publication number: 20260207243
Abstract: A catheter for treating calcified plaque includes a catheter body and an expandable balloon. A treatment device of the catheter disrupts and/or modifies the calcified plaque. The treatment device may be a thermal shock generator, a nuclear magnetic resonance generator, or a vibration generator.

  • Publication number: 20250186668
Abstract: An apparatus can be used for detecting acoustic signals of a vascular system. The apparatus can comprise at least one acoustic sensor. Each acoustic sensor can comprise a piezoelectric layer defining a first side and a second side, and a first annular electrode disposed on the first side of the piezoelectric layer. The first annular electrode can define a hole therethrough. A second annular electrode can be disposed on the second side of the piezoelectric layer disposed against the second. A polymer engagement layer can be positioned against the first side of the piezoelectric layer and disposed at least partially within the hole of the first annular electrode. Methods of data processing for data collected via the apparatus are also disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20250064499
Abstract: A catheter assembly includes an elongate catheter body defining a longitudinal axis, and a plurality of cooling needles configured to be extended from the catheter body to penetrate a vessel wall of a vessel in which the elongate catheter body is positioned and extend to an ablation region within tissue adjacent the vessel wall. At least one cooling needle of the plurality of cooling needles is further configured to receive a flow of cryogenic fluid to cool the at least one cooling needle.

  • Publication number: 20240415559
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for performing cryoablation using a single sized balloon coupled with one or more audio sensors for use in controlling balloon inflation. One example system comprises an electronic controller configured to couple to a balloon catheter comprising a balloon, an inflow lumen for providing a fluid to the balloon, and a microphone sensor is positioned to sense a flow of blood proximal to the balloon. The electronic controller is configured to receive, from the microphone sensor, a signal indicative of a blood flow sound. The electronic controller is configured to control a pump to provide a volume of the fluid to the balloon via the inflow lumen based at least in part on the signal indicative of the blood flow sound.

  • Publication number: 20200388058
Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores instructions readable and executable by a workstation (18) including at least one electronic processor (20) to perform an imaging method (100). The method includes: estimating one or more figures of merit for a reconstructed image by applying a trained deep learning transform (30) to input data including at least imaging parameters and not including a reconstructed image; selecting values for the imaging parameters based on the estimated one or more figures of merit; generating a reconstructed image using the selected values for the imaging parameters; and displaying the reconstructed image.
