  • Publication number: 20260056522
Abstract: Switching a position of a dual modality coupling module to reduce vibrations in a machine includes simulating the propagation of vibrations through the machine using a digital twin model. The simulation is used in determining vibration levels at points of interest in the machine and a recommendation is generated to use the dual modality coupling module based on the vibration levels and the defined vibration threshold. If the vibration levels fail to satisfy the vibration threshold, the dual modality coupling module is positioned at the mechanical coupling position. Upon determining that the vibration levels satisfy the defined vibration threshold, a signal is generated to regulate a current flow to magnetic coils of the dual modality coupling module. The current flow induces temporary magnetism in the magnetic coils. As a result, a mechanical coupling position is switched to a magnetic coupling position.

  • Patent number: 12549591
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, systems and program products extending traditional cloud-centric intrusion detection to edge networks. NIDPS is decentralized between the edge and cloud. Edge gateways equipped with NIDPS agents capture packets of network traffic and pre-process the data. Pre-processing output is compressed and sent to cloud intrusion detection services equipped with latest available rules and signatures. As cloud IDS detects security threats using rules and signatures, NIDPS agents are alerted and switched from “lazy mode” to “preventative mode.” While in preventative mode, NIDPS agents inspect packets of network traffic in accordance with the rules and signatures associated with the detected security threat, dropping packets that trigger the rules and signatures, while still compressing and transmitting other packets to cloud IDS for analysis.

  • Publication number: 20260027611
Abstract: Described are techniques for creating complex three-dimensional wax models for investment casting. A digital three-dimensional model of an object (e.g., transmission part, engine part, brake, bracket, housing, rod, gear, door handle, etc.) is analyzed. Segmented wax models to be formed from the digital three-dimensional model of the object are then identified. A production line using robots is then established for assembling the identified segmented wax models into a complete three-dimensional wax model of the object for investment casting. In this manner, complex three-dimensional wax models may be created for investment casting with less defects than creating such wax models using single injection molding.
