Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling an artificial respiratory device are disclosed. For example, the method detects a change in an activity level of a user based on data that is gathered from at least one sensor that is located in a vicinity of the user, detects a need for a change to a setting of at least one parameter of an artificial respiratory device associated with the user responsive to the change in the activity level of the user being detected, and changes the setting of the parameter of the artificial respiratory device in accordance with the activity level of the user.

Abstract: Wanted vehicles (e.g., stolen or the subjects of AMBER alerts) may respond to receipt of broadcast messages identifying the vehicle by vehicle identification number, license plate number, or other identifier (if programmed into the car). The identifier may be broadcast over any public radio station as an embedded digital message, transmitted from police or fire broadcast stations, transmitted from wireless mobility towers, or the like.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining a coverage area associated with an advertising display device, monitoring presence and motion of a plurality of communication devices with respect to the coverage area to determine a viewing time and a trajectory within the coverage area for each communication device, and associating each device with a user profile that comprises demographic data and preference data. Each user profile is assigned weighting factors based the viewing time and the trajectory for the associated device, thereby generating a weighted user profile for each of a plurality of users. The weighted user profiles are then aggregated to generate a time-dependent audience profile for the coverage area that is associated with an item of advertising content at the advertising display device. The audience profile is analyzed; a new item of advertising content can be selected and displayed. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A method, computer readable medium, and an apparatus for providing information to an application of a mobile endpoint device are disclosed. For example, the method receives a request for the information from the application of the mobile endpoint device, and provides the information to the application from a cache when the application is deemed to be a non-critical application.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for data sharing between service providers and applications. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a service provider data server computer can expose an application programming interface (“API”). The API can collect location data associated with a user device after an application that calls the API is launched by the user device. The service provider data server computer can receive the location data from the application. The service provider data server computer can determine a user associated with the location data and can obtain enrichment data associated with the user. The service provider data server computer can provide the enrichment data associated with the user to the application or to an application server computer for use in determining an advertisement targeted to the user.

Abstract: A remote testing and control system sends instructions to perform a test to a mobile device, receives test results from the mobile device in response to the instructions, presents the test results within a user interface so that that the test results are viewable by a user, and receives an input to control the test results. The test results may be received and presented within the user interface in real-time. The instructions to perform the test may be scheduled to be sent at a specified time.
