  • Patent number: 12626612
Abstract: A conferencing system and method detects one or more two-dimensional (2D) images in presented 2D data and/or objects shown during a videoconference and renders them on a participant's three-dimensional (3D) tactile screen. The system includes a conferencing server that is in communication with one or more participant devices. An image recognition engine is in communication with the conferencing server and identifies the one or more 2D images. An imaging processor is in communication with the image recognition engine, and may be in communication with a camera that recognizes objects shown during the videoconference. The imaging processor creates a 3D rendering of the 2D images and/or the objects and directly or indirectly sends them to the participant's 3D tactile screen.

  • Patent number: 12450299
Abstract: A computer system and method searches organizational communications utilizing sentiment analysis of communication artifacts. A data-collection server first collects organizational data that includes communication artifacts. One or more searchable databases is in communication with the data-collection server and stores the communication artifacts. A search engine searches the databases for the communication artifacts in order to create a sentiment index for one or more sentiment types, wherein each sentiment type is stored in a separate database. A sentiment engine searches and analyzes each of the sentiment databases to create a sentiment index.

  • Publication number: 20220050884
Abstract: In some implementations, a device may access source data associated with a web platform. The device may determine that the source data is associated with a topic. The device may extract, based on the source data being associated with the topic, web data associated with the web platform. The device may select, based on a characteristic of the web data, a model to process the web data to convert the web data to a representation associated with the web data. The model may be a summarization model that is configured to generate the representation to include a summary of text of the web data and/or a visualization model that is configured to generate the representation to include a visualization associated with the text of the web data. The device may cause the model to convert the web data to the representation.

  • Patent number: 10649874
Abstract: Various embodiments herein each include at least one of systems, methods, and software for producing operational analytics that summarize fine-grain time scale behavior over long time durations. Some such embodiments are targeted toward understanding operationally meaningful behavior of complex dynamic systems that are often only apparent at fine-grain time scales. Such behavior occurs rarely and/or only for short durations so the analytics of some embodiments cover long time durations.

  • Patent number: 9405592
Abstract: Data partitions are assigned to reducer tasks using a cost-based and workload balancing approach. At least one of the initial data partitions remains unassigned in an unassigned partitions pool. Each reducer while working on its assigned partitions makes dynamic run-time decisions as to whether to: reassign a partition to another reducer, accept a partition from another reducer, select a partition from the unassigned partitions pool, and/or reassign a partition back to the unassigned partitions pool.

  • Patent number: 7941425
Abstract: Techniques for scoring and comparing query execution plans are provided. Predefined parameter types are identified in query execution plans and predefined weighted values are assigned to any identified parameters within the query execution plans. The weights are summed on a per processing step bases and the sum of the processing steps represents a total score for a particular query execution plan. The total scores or individual step scores from different query execution plans can then be compared or evaluated against one another for optimization and problem detection analysis.
