Abstract: Techniques for automatically generating targeting templates are provided. In one technique, multiple sets of targeting criteria provided by different content providers are identified. Based on the multiple sets of targeting criteria, multiple clusters of sets of targeting criteria are created. For each cluster, a targeting template is generated based on a set of targeting criteria that belong to that cluster. In another technique, multiple users are identified and for each user, a set of attribute-value pairs of that user is identified and added to a plurality of attribute-value pairs. Based on the plurality of attribute-value pairs, a targeting template that specifies targeting criteria is generated and presented for selection.

Abstract: Technologies for identifying and recommending dimension values for a content delivery campaign are provided. Disclosed techniques include receiving, from a content provider, input that selects one or more entities. In response to receiving the input, a plurality of dimension values are identified from each of the one or more entities. Dimension values may represent attributes associated with entities. A set of dimension values for recommendation may be identified from the plurality of dimension values previously identified. The set of dimension values for recommendation may be presented to the content provider for the purpose of generating a content delivery campaign based upon the recommended set of dimension values.

Abstract: Techniques for avoiding race conditions in a content delivery system are provided. Multiple content delivery campaigns that are affected by at least one remapping in a set of remappings are identified. Each remapping in the set of remappings maps an old identifier to a new identifier that is different than the old identifier. For at least some of the plurality of content delivery campaigns, identification data that identifies the content delivery campaign is sent to a particular service. In response to the particular service receiving the identification data, the particular service retrieves targeting data associated with the content delivery campaign. The particular service applies a subset of the set of remappings to the targeting data to generate updated targeting data. The particular service causes the updated targeting data to be stored in association with the content delivery campaign.

Abstract: Techniques for detecting errors in a computing system are provided. In one technique, first member data that comprises first attribute values of a particular attribute is stored. Each attribute value in the first attribute values is associated with a different member of a first plurality of members. Second member data that comprises second attribute values of the particular attribute is stored. Each attribute value in the second attribute values is associated with a different member of a second plurality of members. For each attribute value of the first attribute values, a first number of instances of the attribute value in the first member data is determined, a second number of instances of the attribute value in the second member data is determined, and based on the first number and the second number, a determination of whether a notification indicating the particular attribute will be generated is made.

Abstract: Techniques for integrating an entity identification system and a content delivery system are provided. The entity identification system identifies multiple entities that have been identified, by multiple users, through the entity identification system. The entity identification system determines a stage for each identified entity, creates multiple entity groups (one for each different stage), and makes the entity groups available to the content delivery system. The content delivery system assigns each entity group to a different content delivery campaign. In response to receiving a content request from a client device, the content delivery system determines an identifier associated with the client device, where the identifier is in a particular entity group. Based on the identifier, a content delivery campaign that corresponds to the particular entity group is determined and a content item associated with the content delivery campaign is identified and transmitted over a network to the client device.

The cache manager system includes features allowing the content selection system to determine when to use information stored in a cache memory or when to request a refresh of profile information by executing a merge of information from two or more data sources.

A server, data center, and/or cloud computing environment may monitor certain aspects of a remote desktop session. The rendering, capture, and compression of a desktop may be monitored. The time between the sending of frames to a thin client can be monitored, the network bandwidth available can be monitored and the time between sending a frame and receiving a response from the thin client can be monitored. Based on these values, a benchmark for the remote desktop experience can be determined.
