  • Publication number: 20240103793
Abstract: A natural language markup for meetings is introduced that facilitates planning and facilitation of online meetings. Shared content is obtained during an online meeting. The shared content is shared by a first participant in the online meeting for display on devices of one or more second participants in the online meeting. A visual object is detected in the shared content and additional content is obtained based on detecting the visual object. The additional content is transmitted with the shared content for display on the devices of the one or more second participants.

  • Patent number: 11170226
Abstract: A system for tracking objects in a temporal sequence of digital images is configured to: detect potential objects in the images, the detected potential objects being indicated as nodes, identify pairs of neighboring nodes, such that for each pair the nodes of said pair potentially represent an identical object and their spatial and/or temporal relationship with each other is within a predetermined range, connect each pair of neighboring nodes with a first type edge, identify at least one supplementary pair of distant nodes whose spatial and/or temporal relationship with each other exceeds the predetermined range, connect the pair of distant nodes with a supplementary second type edge, each of the first and second type edges being assigned a cost value, and determine a track of an object in the temporal sequence of digital images based on a set of connected first type edges and at least one second type edge.

  • Publication number: 20180298753
Abstract: A control system for controlling operation of a cutter motor and a cutter boom movement mechanism of a machine includes a sensor that measures an amount of load associated with the cutter motor. A controller determines whether the load on the cutter motor is different from a cutter motor load limit. If so, the controller is configured to adjust a velocity of the cutter boom movement mechanism relative to a tip velocity of a rotary cutting tool associated with the machine based on the difference between the measured cutter motor load and the cutter motor load limit until a torque error of the cutter motor reaches a particular value, for instance, zero. Moreover, the controller may also adjust a current speed of the cutter motor in driving the rotary cutting tool based on the adjusted velocity of the cutter boom movement mechanism.

  • Patent number: 10094216
Abstract: A milling depth compensation system for milling rock determines a target position of a machine, an initial position of the work surface, and a target pose of the machine based on the target position of the machine and the initial position of the work surface. An actual pose of the machine is determined and differences between the actual pose and the target pose are used to determine a dynamic milling path of a milling tool. The dynamic milling path includes movement of the milling tool along a first path, a second path, and a third path. Command signals are generated to move the milling tool along the dynamic milling path.

  • Patent number: 10041794
Abstract: A site positioning system for an underground machine includes a first prism coupled with the underground machine, a second prism operatively coupled with the underground machine, a primary total station, and a reference prism may be in communication with the primary total station. A positioning controller is configured to control, responsive to receiving a High Accuracy Machine Position mode, the primary total station to monitor the first prism and the second prism and transmit a first prism position and a second prism position, respectively, to the positioning controller; control, responsive to receiving a Low Accuracy Machine Position mode, the primary total station to monitor the first prism and transmit the first prism position to the positioning controller; determine, responsive to receiving a Reference Prism Measurement mode, whether a reference prism measurement has been completed, and present positioning information for the machine based on one or more of the prism positions.

  • Patent number: 10036253
Abstract: A control system for a material gathering mechanism includes a gathering head configured to gather material from aground surface, a plurality of gathering members configured to transport the material gathered by the gathering head towards a material conveying apparatus, and a jam detection device for detecting a jam condition in movement of one or more of the plurality of gathering members and generate signals indicative of the jam condition. The control system further includes a controller communicably coupled to the plurality of gathering members and the jam detection member. The controller receives signals indicative of the jam condition from the jam detection device. The controller initiates a sequence of stopping, delaying, and restarting the gathering member on receiving the signals indicative of the jam condition.

  • Publication number: 20180179892
Abstract: A control method and system for avoiding collisions between components of a machine includes a controller that receives position signals from sensors associated with movable components of the machine. The controller determines the positional coordinate representations of the components within a coordinate system based upon the position signals and the outer dimensions of the respective components. If any of the components are within preset collision slowdown or shutdown zones within the coordinate system, then the speed of those components is restricted or the components are shutdown, respectively, in the direction of collision.

  • Publication number: 20170044761
Abstract: Sound absorbing material for use in rooms inside buildings. The material comprises a continuous polymeric film (11) having smooth surfaces, said film having a thickness (t) of about 0.1 to 0.3 mm. The film is provided with numerous substantially parallel discontinuous microslits (12) with a degree of perforation of from 0.3-3%. The microslits are cut with laser devices to produce a highly smooth and level surface. The film is tensioned in a frame (16) with a level film surface or curved film surface.

  • Publication number: 20110048546
Abstract: The invention relates to a wet gas compression system comprising a compact flow conditioner (21), intended to be placed below sea level in close vicinity to a well head or on a dry installation, said flow conditioner (21) being intended to receive a multi-phase flow through a supply pipe (11) from a sub sea well for further transport of such hydrocarbons to a multi-phase receiving plant, and where preferably avoid sand accumulation or remove as much sand as possible from the multi-phase flow, the gas (G) and the liquid (L) being separated in the flow conditioner (21) whereupon the separated gas (G) and liquid (L) are re-assembled and enters a multi-phase meter (46) prior to boosting by means of a compressor (22). In the combined multi-phase pump and compressor unit (22), as an integrated unit, comprises a combined multi-phase pump and compressor unit (22) functioning on the centrifugal principle, used for trans-porting liquid and gas from a flow conditioner (21) to a remote multi-phase receiving plant.
