Abstract: Push-pull closure for a drink container comprising a body element which comprises a through-opening and a fastening device, with which it may be sealingly and releasably connected to an opening of the drink container, a mouthpiece which may be axially displaceably inserted into the through-opening of the body element and which comprises at least one locking portion which may engage behind the through-opening of the body element, and a locking element which may be releasably attached to the inner face of the body element facing the drink container, the locking element being arranged so that the locking portion of the mouthpiece may not adopt a position in which it does not engage behind the through-opening of the body element, when the mouthpiece is inserted into the through-opening and the locking element is attached to the inner face of the body element.

Abstract: A closure system for a baby bottle including a lower closure ring screwed onto an external thread of a bottle, an upper closure ring for connecting to a screw ring for fastening a drinking teat, locking elements which rotatably and releasably lock together the lower closure ring and the upper closure ring, a circular lip seal made of a soft elastic material concentric to a lower peripheral part being arranged on the first upper face, with at least one axially oriented sealing lip and at least one circular seal geometry engaging with the lip seal and concentric to an upper peripheral part being arranged on a second lower face or vice versa and by rotating the upper closure ring relative to the lower closure ring the upper throughflow hole may optionally be brought into overlapping and non-overlapping positions relative to a lower throughflow hole.

Abstract: A device for applying a lock solution in a catheter or other access system comprises a syringe (302) having an expulsion arrangement (305, 311) for expelling the lock solution from the device, said expulsion arrangement including a plunger (305) arranged in a housing (304), further comprising a sterile connector (303) for connecting the syringe (302) to the catheter. The connector (303) is arranged to engage a tip (307) of the expulsion arrangement (305, 311) tightly when the syringe (302) is inserted in the connector (303). The connector (303) is arranged to prevent the tip (307) of the expulsion arrangement (305, 311) from entering the catheter. The tip (307) is frangible. A method of applying a lock solution in a catheter or other access system is also disclosed.

Abstract: An end-cap assembly for closing one end of a housing of a filter comprises an end-cap having an end wall; an inlet port extending through the end wall for connection to a first end of a pump hose of a peristaltic pump; and a first holder for securing a second end of the pump hose. The inlet port and the first holder are arranged relative to each other so that the pump hose forms a loop when the first end of the pump hose is connected to the inlet port and the second end of the pump hose is secured by the holder.

A pump hose (17) for a peristaltic pump has a first end (18) that is secured to the housing (2) and a second end (16) that is connected to a blood inlet port (15) of the first end-cap (4) so as to form a loop. A degassing device (30) is connected to the second end-cap (5). The degassing device (30), which, in use, is full of liquid, comprises a hydrophobic membrane through which bubbles and micro-bubbles escape the degassing device.
