    Abstract: A condenser tube profile, a method and an apparatus for heat exchange where a condenser tube profile is applied for heat exchange purposes. The condenser tube profile is made of aluminium or an aluminium alloy in an extrusion process, and a heat transfer medium is transported through one or more channels arranged in the said tube profile. A substantial flat flange is integrated with the tube profile. The tube profile can be winded in a shape of a helix onto the outer surface of an object, and where the flat flange is arranged firmly onto the surface of the object. Also, a method for heat transfer between a heat transfer medium flowing through such condenser tube and a liquid in a tank as well as an apparatus such as a domestic water heater of steel or stainless steel provided with said heat transfer arrangement.

    Abstract: A Multi Port Extrusion tubing (MPE tubing) (10) made from a Multi Port Extrusion (MPE), the MPE being a web like extrusion (Web-MPE) with two or more individual tubes (8) interlinked with webs (9). The webs have a thickness, which is less than the tube diameter of the individual tubes, and the MPE tubing includes at least one bending zone (A), and at least two straight zones (C1, C2). The web-MPE in the bending zone (A) is bent so that each individual tube has a U-shape, and the web-MPE in a first straight zone (C1) is parallel to the web-MPE in an adjacent second straight zone (C2). The web-MPE in the straight zones on each side of the bending zone (A) extend in substantially the same plane, so that all individual tubes of the web-MPE in the straight zones are parallel to each other, and extend in the same plane.

    Abstract: A process for making a fluid-tight connection between a tube and a plate-shaped member. The process entails inserting one end of a tube into a correspondingly-sized hole in a plate-shaped member so that the tube end contacts the plate-shaped member and extends beyond a surface of the plate-shaped member. A mandrel is then inserted and pressed into the tube end while heating the mandrel to a temperature sufficient to soften and deform the tube end and increase contact between the tube end and the plate-shaped member, such that the tube is secured to the plate-shaped member and a fluid-tight seal is formed therebetween.
