  • Publication number: 20140145423
Abstract: A subframe of a front or rear part of a motor vehicle includes two longitudinal members arranged in spaced-apart relationship in a vehicle transverse direction and connected to one another by a cross member. A reinforcement is connected to the longitudinal members and the cross member for increasing a torsion resistance of the subframe and has integrated therein a charge module which is configured to transmit energy in a contactless manner.

  • Publication number: 20140097794
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle having a storage for electrical energy, which store is coupled to a coil into which electrical energy can be induced from outside the motor vehicle during a charging process. The vehicle includes a housing in which the coil is arranged, the housing being made of plastic toward the underside of the motor vehicle, and an optical waveguide is arranged in particular between two walls of the housing. When light from a light source is coupled into the optical waveguide and a detector detects the light, damage to the housing can be detected and the induction of electrical energy into the coil at a charging station can optionally be interrupted in order to avoid hazards to persons.

  • Publication number: 20140035565
Abstract: A method for positioning a motor vehicle in relation to a primary element of a charging device disposed on a side of a roadway of the motor vehicle for contactless charging of an electric storage device of the motor vehicle, includes moving a secondary element of the charging device arranged on the motor vehicle and interacting with the primary element relative to the primary element by moving the motor vehicle on the roadway into a predetermined charging position, and determining with at least one sensor and at least one positioning element having at least two mutually different markers, when the secondary element has reached the predetermined charging position, by detecting the markers with the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20140008973
Abstract: An apparatus inductively transmits electrical energy from a primary coil, which is arranged in a stationary unit, to a secondary coil, which is arranged in a vehicle. The primary coil and/or the secondary coil have or has at least one switchable coil tap for adjusting a coil length which is active for the inductive energy transmission.

  • Patent number: 8217774
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a locking system of a motor vehicle wherein, as the states of the locking system, there is an unlocked state, a locked state from which it is possible to switch to the unlocked state via at least a first operating element inside the vehicle, and a security state in which by simply activating a first operating element it is not possible to switch to the unlocked state. The aim of the invention is to propose a method that allows a person inside the motor vehicle to still leave the motor vehicle despite user activation of the security state without substantially easing the opening of the motor vehicle from the outside by an unauthorized third party. Four concepts are proposed that can all be implemented in combination to great benefit. They enable a person still inside the vehicle to leave the motor vehicle upon activation of the security state.
