Abstract: An air conditioning system is provided, particularly for a vehicle having a main air conditioning unit, an auxiliary air conditioning unit, wherein both the main air conditioning unit and the auxiliary air conditioning unit contain a blower, an evaporator and a heater core, a cold pass is attached to the evaporator, a hot pass is affiliated to the heater core and the cold pass is separated from the hot pass by at least one temperature door. By an air conditioning system, especially for a vehicle, which uses the conditioned air in the vehicle cabin for engine cooling, an additional pass is arranged before the heater core in the auxiliary air conditioning unit wherein said hot pass ends in a body exhauster during the cooling mode of said auxiliary air conditioning unit.

Abstract: A blower assembly for use with an HVAC module is provided. The blower assembly includes a scroll or volute shaped housing having an air inlet in a wall of the housing for receiving air to be blown by an impeller, and an air outlet from which the blown air passes from the housing. A blower wheel is secured to a rotatable motor-driven shaft extending along a central axis of the air inlet. At least one venture is provided adjacent to the air inlet of the housing, the at least one venturi connectable to an aspirator that is in fluid communication with a sensor unit. Wherein, during operation, the blower wheel pulls air both through the air inlet to the housing and through the at least one venturi.

Abstract: A blower scroll comprising a base and a wall extending from an outer edge of the base. The base may include an outlet formed in the base a diverting device extending about at least a portion of the outlet. The diverting device may obstruct the flow of water droplets in the blower scroll into the outlet.
