  • Publication number: 20230192315
Abstract: A lighting device for an airport runway with a base carrier, at which at least one lighting unit is fastened, with the lighting unit comprising a light source, a reflector, and a covering glass panel, with the light source and the reflector being combined to a joint lighting module, with the light source and the reflector being assembled on a joint carrier of the lighting module connected to the base carrier in a detachable fashion.

  • Patent number: 9470407
Abstract: Lighting apparatus for airports, in particular flush light, having housing with a housing base and a housing top that includes a recess for receiving a light disc. Light disc facilitates the emission of light from a light source, disposed in the interior of the housing, to the surroundings. A light source carrier on which the light source is mounted is attached to a heat transfer block locked in a recess of the housing top such that edges and/or at least partially flat sides of the heat transfer block are in direct contact with the corresponding sides of the recess.

  • Patent number: 9013329
Abstract: A lighting device, capable of identifying and marking traffic areas of airports, comprises at least one semiconductor lamp and an electronic control circuit, which is connectable to an electrical AC supply network with constant current feed. For controlling the operation of the semiconductor lamp, the control circuit has a rectifier, which is connectable without a transformer to the electrical AC supply network. It further has an internal power supply, which is connected to the rectifier, for supplying the semiconductor lamp with an electric direct current. Furthermore, the voltage supply device (3) having electronic power factor correction means, by means of which voltage and current can be kept in phase in all operating states of the lighting device (1). It furthermore re-adjusts the input voltage from the electrical AC supply network to allow the current predefined on the AC supply network to flow in the event of a small power demand of the electronic control circuit.

  • Publication number: 20060257140
Abstract: A method and a device for generating images in a motor vehicle. An infrared-sensitive camera generates images of the surroundings of the motor vehicle, line by line in scanning lines. The image recording region of the infrared-sensitive camera is illuminated in pulsed fashion by at least one emission source that radiates in the infrared spectral region. The recording of the scanning lines is carried out synchronized in time with the pulsed illumination. In a first example embodiment, the recording of scanning lines of an infrared-sensitive CMOS camera is synchronized in time with a laser diode emitting in the near infrared spectral region. In a second example embodiment, the synchronization in time of the recording of scanning lines of the infrared-sensitive CMOS camera with the pulsed illumination is performed autonomously by the CMOS camera by evaluation of at least one recorded scanning line.
