  • Patent number: 11389851
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing formed aluminum components. The method comprises the steps: i. Providing a hollow profile of aluminum or aluminum allow, the profile having a predetermined length and comprising an outer wall having a pre-determined thickness; ii. Placing a hollow aluminum profile in a cavity of a bending tool and press bending the profile using the bending tool; and iii. Transferring the profile to a cavity of a forming tool and subjecting the interior of the profile to elevated gas pressure, whereby the section of the profile is distended until the outer wall of the profile abuts the forming tool, thereby providing a formed aluminum component; wherein the steps ii. and iii. are performed at a tool temperature of 350-470° C. The present invention further relates to formed aluminum components manufactured by such a method.

  • Patent number: 9817456
Abstract: A first aspect provides in a supply voltage control module, a method of providing instructions for setting a supply voltage comprising obtaining information on a supply voltage need of a load and based on that information, determining a supply voltage that is to be provided to the load. Subsequently, an instruction is sent to a power supply module to supply the determined supply voltage to the load. A need for a supply voltage of a load, like an integrated circuit, may not only depend on design of the load, but also on parameters of the manufacturing process and the level of activity of the load. By obtaining information on a supply voltage need of the load and using that information to determine a supply voltage to be provided to the load, a feedback loop is created by instructing a point of load power supply to provide the supply voltage determined.

  • Publication number: 20110240277
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a heat exchanger header tank comprising the steps of providing a tube having a core made from a AA3XXX-aluminium alloy; optionally pre-heating the tube; inserting the tube into a forming tool having a forming cavity with the shape of the final header tank; plugging the ends of the tube; internally pressurising the tube by the use of a gas so as to make it conform to the shape of the tool cavity, thus obtaining the final header tank; removing the header tank from the tool; and cooling the header tank. This method allows an efficient production of header tanks of irregular shapes made of AA3XXX aluminium alloy. The invention also relates to a method for producing a heat exchanger, where the header tank is connected to a plurality of tubes and corrugated fins inserted between the tubes, followed by brazing of the fins to the tubes.

  • Publication number: 20090235065
Abstract: The method is for encryption and decryption of electronic communication. A monitoring module in an operating system of a first communication device is provided. A sender sends an electronic message addressed to a receiver of a second communication device. The monitoring module intercepts the message and sends a request signal to a database module. The database module monitors a secured list and sends back a positive signal when the receiver is on the list. The monitoring module sends an encryption request to an encryption/decryption module. The encryption/decryption module encrypts the message and returns an encrypted message. The encrypted message is sent as a communication signal to the second communication device.

  • Patent number: 6611588
Abstract: A method for routing calls to telephony devices when the telephone numbers used to identify the telephony devices have been converted from an old numbering scheme to a new numbering scheme. The method includes the steps of: receiving a call request for one of the telephony devices; examining at least a portion of a telephone number in the call request to determine whether one or more digits correspond to an old series of telephone numbers having a first numbering scheme that have been converted to a second numbering scheme; and, if the telephone number corresponds to a telephone number that has been changed to the second numbering scheme: i) determining the one or more digits to be appended to the telephone number to convert it to the second numbering scheme; ii) appending the one or more digits to the telephone number to obtain a now telephone number for the telephony device; and completing the call request using the new telephone number.

  • Patent number: 6134316
Abstract: A telecommunications domain (20) having subscriber number relocateablity includes a plurality of physical nodes or exchanges (22) between which calls are connected and a subscriber location server (30) which is connected to and accessed by each of the plurality of exchanges (22) in the domain (20). Each exchange (22) has a unique exchange identifier (ID). Generally, when a call is placed to a subscriber in the relocateability domain, a first exchange the call encounters in the domain queries the subscriber location server. When queried, the subscriber location server (30) returns a Network Routing Number (NRN) which includes a Network Routing Prefix (NRP). The Network Routing Prefix (NRP) is a node identifier (NI) for the local exchange to which the called party is connected.

  • Patent number: 6064887
Abstract: A telecommunications network (10) comprises a set of service provider/operator domains (20), including mobile telecommunications domains (20A-20C). A call-originating domain (20F) accesses a mobile subscriber number portability database (30F) to obtain the address of the gateway node (GMSC) of the telecommunications domain which currently serves a called mobile subscriber having a mobile station (70), and optionally the address of the home location register (HLR) of the called mobile subscriber. The address of the gateway node obtained from the database (and optionally the address of the home location register) are included along with the directory number (MSISDN) or IMSI of the called mobile subscriber in a routing message for completing the call. When changing service providers (e.g., changing to a new domain), the mobile subscriber number portability database is updated to reflect the change.

  • Patent number: 6002759
Abstract: A telecommunications network (10) comprises a set of telephone service operator domains (20), including domains (20A-20C) having intelligent network-type services having non-geographic telephone numbers. A call-originating domain (20G) accesses a non-geographic service number database (30G) to obtain address information concerning the domain which currently handles the called service (90). The address information obtained from the non-geographic service number database includes the address a node in the domain which handles the service, e.g., the address of a gateway node (GW), and optionally the addresses of a service switching point (SSP), a service control function (SCF), and a service data function (SDF) which handles the called service (90). When changing telephone service operators (e.g., changing to a new domain), the non-geographic service number database is updated to reflect the change.
