  • Patent number: 7851711
Abstract: Electronic scales to efficiently control the amount of calories consumed include at least one weight or force sensor, a data processing unit having a memory unit, a control and input keyboard and a display device. The scales include an active bearing surface functionally connected to the weight or force sensor(s) and adapted to receive a plate of food or similar container, and the data processing unit is installed with a program which calculates the equivalent calorie value for each meal, in the form of liquid and/or solid food, based on the amount of weighed food and the stored or manually input weight-related calorie content of the meal, finally, the other food of a meal is added to the equivalent calorie content and a total value of calories of the daily consumed meal is calculated. The value is stored, displayed and/or printed out and the storage unit stores pre-programmed desired values.

  • Patent number: 5980671
Abstract: A process and device for cutting and distributing printed large width bands and a positioning table for implementing the process. In the extension of a feed table a positioning table is provided which is itself equipped with endless belts each carrying a gripping clip for pulling an initial band from the feed table on to itself, devices for registering and positioning the band being provided at least at the inlet and at the outlet of the positioning table. The device allows the production of a continuous wide width printed band from a narrower width printed band assuring that the design and the pattern on the new wide width band are in perfect register as shown in FIG. 1. The device cuts a rectangular length of the original narrow band, the length being the width of the desired wide width band. The so cut rectangular sheets are joined by gluing them along the longer side of the rectangles.

  • Patent number: 4294637
Abstract: A wide composite band of a patterned transfer-carrying sheet is formed of several webs or web sections secured together parallel or perpendicular to the band with the patterns of adjacent webs or web sections in registration. Webs may for example be fed side-by-side parallel to one another and any staggering of the pattern corrected by suitable adjustment of web tensioning rollers by detecting reference marks corresponding to the pattern. The webs are then joined by sticking, or could be directly used for transfer printing without being secured together. Alternatively, a web is fed perpendicular to the band being formed, and cut into sections which are adjusted relative to the band by detecting reference marks, and joined to the band.

  • Patent number: 4281598
Abstract: Plural donor design transfer strips that undergo linear change with temperature change are used simultaneously to print on one wide width receptor web. The donor strips are preheated, then alined and adjusted using register marks thereon, then introduced together with the receptor web into the heat transfer machine for transfer of the designs to the receptor web so that the design edges coincide on the web.

  • Patent number: 4012248
Abstract: A method of providing foam plastic surfaces with a relief structure comprising the steps of: producing printed films which contain at predetermined locations, substantially corresponding to the printing pattern, either (a) means which inhibit and/or accelerate foaming, or (b) a barrier layer material which prevents the throughpassage of the means which inhibits or accelerates foaming, applying the film, prior to foaming, to the base layer to be foamed, and this combined or composite material is heated to the foaming temperature, whereby by means of the migration of the means inhibiting and/or accelerating foaming in accordance with the printing pattern of the film into the base layer during foaming there is obtained the relief formation of the surface and the anchoring of the printed film at the surface.
