  • Patent number: 9937519
Abstract: A kit for converting a gun-type sauce dispenser to dispense flowable materials such as sauces from flexible-walled containers comprises a nose piece, a dispensing tube and a supplemental piston. The nose piece has a forward end adapted to be attached to an end stop of the sauce dispenser. An opening extends axially through the nose piece. The nosepiece is adapted to be coupled to the dispensing tube such that the dispensing tube is held axially relative to the nose piece. A top sheet of a flexible-walled container may be retained between the nose piece and the dispensing tube. The nose piece may comprise a member arranged to tension the end sheet of the container.

  • Patent number: 9896248
Abstract: A dispensing bottle has a spout formed integrally with a neck that extends to a body of the bottle. The spout comprises first and second passages oriented at an angle to the neck. A partition inside the neck forms an extension of the second passage. The partition extends at least to a base of the neck such that air entering the second passage is carried through the neck and released into the body of the bottle. The bottle may have first and second parts detachably affixed together.

  • Publication number: 20160338542
Abstract: A skewer for securing a food item and insertion into an aperture of a skewer holder, the skewer comprising a retention portion at one end of the skewer configured to receive and secure the food item; a grip portion at an opposite end of the skewer; and an engagement portion. The engagement portion has a compressed configuration when in contact with an inner surface of the aperture in which the longest cross-sectional width across the engagement portion is less than a shortest cross-sectional width of the aperture. The engagement portion also has an expanded configuration when not in contact with the inner surface in which the longest cross-sectional width across the engagement portion is greater than the shortest cross-sectional width of the aperture.

  • Publication number: 20140246458
Abstract: A fluid dispenser comprises a container body. The container body has a first end and a second end. The first end is larger in size than the second end. The container body is dimensioned such that the first end of the container body can be at least partially inserted into the second opening of another identical container body Container bodies may be nested for shipment to reduce volume and save on shipping costs. In some embodiments the first larger end of the container body has a squared off cross section, thereby allowing stacks of container bodies to be packaged together in a shipping container with reduced dead space.

  • Patent number: 8418890
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing portions of flowable materials has a piston that is advanced along a dispensing chamber by rotation of a spindle that passes through the piston. A stop may limit travel of the piston to control the volume of flowable material dispensed. The stop may be adjustable. In an example hand-held dispenser the spindle is rotated by a rack and pinion mechanism that can be operated with one hand. The dispenser may be used, for example, for dispensing portions of condiments, sauces or the like.
