  • Publication number: 20240109064
Abstract: This application relates to improvements in environments for microbial testing. Exemplary embodiments provide a uniquely configured tray containing an environment conditioning material, such as an oxygen scavenger material, for use with a cassette assembly. Furthermore, some embodiments provide a cutting mechanism that allows the tray to be reliably breached, thereby exposing the material inside to the environment. Some embodiments can cut open the material with specially-configured cutter teeth, which can easily be deployed by twisting or pushing two halves of the cassette assembly.

  • Publication number: 20230379813
Abstract: A system and method for provisioning devices on respective LTE or 5G network cores using a hierarchical provisioning connector. Maintained by a connectivity management platform, a hierarchical provisioning connector serving as an extension of a single provisioning connector of the customer account, such that the hierarchical provisioning connector may contain an array of single provisioning connectors. A rule processor that is utilized by the hierarchical provisioning connector to classify devices by access technology. Each configured rule may take one or more unique device identifiers as input and return a reference to exactly one configured single provisioning connector.

  • Patent number: 6532654
Abstract: A method of forming an electrical connector including providing a metallic sheet having a multitude of connector blanks formed therein, each of the connector blanks having a base portion, a contact portion and a singulation arm; forming each of the connector blanks into a connector having a predetermined shape wherein each of the connectors remain connected to the metallic sheet by their respective singulation arms and wherein the singulation arms are nonplanar with respect to the metallic sheet; joining the base of each of the connectors to a first substrate; and severing the singulation arms to separate each of the connectors from the metallic sheet wherein the base of each of the connectors is joined to the first substrate. In a preferred embodiment, the contact portion contacts a second substrate.

  • Patent number: 4381718
Abstract: The following specification discloses a process and burner for combusting fossil fuels such as coal to provide low SO.sub.x and NO.sub.x emissions. The process includes pulverizing the coal together with an alkaline material, such as limestone in an amount calculated to provide an alkaline metal stoichiometric equivalent of one to seven times the stoichiometric equivalent of the sulphur contained in the coal. The resulting pulverized coal-limestone mix is then combusted under fuel rich conditions. For example, 25% of the theoretical air required to combust the coal is preheated and injected into the combustion zone together with the pulverized coal-limestone mixture. The primary or transport air is swirled to increase mixing and to stabilize the flame. Preheated secondary air is introduced to the combustion zone. The amount of the preheated secondary air amounts to approximately 40% to about 100% of the theoretically required air.

  • Patent number: 4354821
Abstract: A process and system for combusting a nitrogen-containing fuel to produce low NO.sub.x levels in the exhaust emissions. A stream of the fuel mixed with air is combusted in two or more fuel-rich zones having catalytic beds. The stoichiometry of the mixture in each zone is controlled for the particular catalytic material employed so that a minimum of NO.sub.x precursors is formed upon combustion in the zones. Additional air is injected into the flow to maintain the predetermined stoichiometry in the downstream zones. The beds of the fuel-rich zones can be comprised of different catalytic materials having different theoretical air proportion at which the NO.sub.x precursors are at a minimum. The beds of the fuel-rich zones can also be comprised of the same catalyst material having different minima at which NO.sub.x precursors are formed at different theoretical air proportions.
