Abstract: A system for computer aided design (CAD) body interoperability, which allows a CAD design to be exchanged between a source platform or computing system and a target system by determining one or more implicit equations/functions for a CAD body in the source CAD program, expressing this representation of the CAD body as code, and exporting the code to the target system. In some cases, a portion of the code may be GPU code, which may also be provided to a graphics processing unit of the source computing system to allow the CAD body to be displayed by the source computing system.

Changes to the control elements are correspondingly made to the cross section plane and the CAD object.
