Patent number: 12232609Abstract: A furniture assembly is provided that allows to independently adjust height of furniture legs and thus adjust the angle at which the user-interfacing surface of the furniture, such as seat or tabletop, are positioned. This feature allows to set up the furniture for office-type use even in the outdoors and to compensate for sloped or otherwise uneven terrain. The furniture assembly can take form a chair, a sofa, or a table, with all of these furniture items being easily and conveniently foldable and unfoldable to allow for easy transport. Multiple safety features promote the furniture in staying in folded or unfolded configuration, as desired by the user, and prevent accidental change of configuration.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2024Date of Patent: February 25, 2025Assignee: FURNIGAMI INC.Inventors: Nicholas Van Raalte, Michael Yim, Jonathan Thai, David Suttie, Blake Johnson, Peter Van Raalte

Publication number: 20230208322Abstract: A fabrication process is disclosed for the production of flexible triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) fiber, which can comprise a copper core surrounded by a silicone cladding. The TENG fibers are fabricated using a coaxial micro-extrusion process that enables 2D and 3D constructs to be fabricated with the fibers via 3D printing on both stationary and moving substrates to form mechanosensors as membranes, meshes, and hollow 3D structures. The mechanosensors can be integrated into wearable items for human activity monitoring, or can be formed on organs for organ monitoring, e.g., monitoring of perfused organs. The mechanosensors can be integrated into facemasks and uses for silent speech recognition, such as words mouthed in the absence of sound production by the speaker. The mechanosensors are self-powered and have high stretchability.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: Blake JOHNSON, Yuxin TONG, John ROBERTSON, Xiaoting JIA, Ziang FENG

Publication number: 20230065494Abstract: A device for enhancing the tumescence of an erection is disclosed. The device has a body shaped to conform to the dorsal surface of a wearer's penis. A latch is disposed on one end of the body and a loop of elastic material extends from the opposite end of the body. A wearer attaches the device by stretching the loop from the body, placing the body against his penis, inserting his testicles through the loop and engaging the loop with the latch. One portion of the loop encircles the shaft of the penis in front of the scrotum and a second encircles the penis and scrotum behind the scrotum. Elastic rebound of the loop applies compressive force to the penis and scrotum, modifying blood flow in the penis and increasing tumescence.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 28, 2022Publication date: March 2, 2023Inventors: Elliot Justin, Jonathan Thai, Michael Yim, Blake Johnson, Peter Yoo, Siri Sakulyong, Cesar Viramontes

Publication number: 20220307588Abstract: The invention is a shift lockout guide for a vehicle equipped with a manual gearbox. It includes a user-operable means that, in preferred embodiments, is mounted to the shifter of the gear box and is linked to an engagement portion that interacts with guide plates defining a path of travel for the shifter. A biasing means urges the engagement portion into the guide plates but this can be overridden by the driver through the user-operable means. The invention provides the driver of a vehicle fitted with the invention in the selection of specific gears while also preventing certain other gears from being selected. This reduces the risk of inadvertent overrevving of the vehicle's engine through inappropriate gear selection.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2020Publication date: September 29, 2022Inventors: Alan Blake JOHNSON, Glenn Douglas EVANS, Grant Antony UDY

Patent number: 8983857Abstract: When uncertainty is present, operational activities and counterparty relationships related to such operational activities are evaluated and appropriate management actions determined by utilizing data records comprising Contingent Performance Deliverables (CPDs), where a CPD specifies a set of rights and obligations for two or more counterparties to the CPD with respect to operational activities of the counterparties, wherein the rights and obligations are defined over a set of uncertain potential future events (SPFE). Analysis is conducted to assess relevant sources of uncertainty, and to determine appropriate actions under the operational activities, counterparty relationships, and CPD rights and obligations across such sources of uncertainty. After the actions are determined, their impact on the operational activities and counterparty relationships, and on associated performance measures, is determined across the sources of uncertainty.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 2008Date of Patent: March 17, 2015Inventor: Blake Johnson
