  • Publication number: 20260137705
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and pharmaceutical compositions for treating conditions in non-human mammals, including seizures, idiopathic epilepsy, anxiety, noise aversion, and separation anxiety. The treatment involves administering cannabinoid compositions comprising at least one cannabinoid selected from cannabidiol (CBD), cannabidivarin (CBDV), cannabichromene (CBC), cannabigerol (CBG), cannabinol (CBN), and tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV). Specific embodiments comprise CBD isolate nano-particles with purity greater than 99% of total cannabinoids and particle sizes less than 100 nanometers, suspended in oil-based media, essentially free of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Methods include acute treatment for noise aversion administered immediately prior to or during noise events, and daily administration for separation anxiety management. A pharmaceutical composition comprising CBD, CBDV, and CBC in a 5:1:1 weight ratio for treating seizures and idiopathic epilepsy is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20230307898
Abstract: A switch plate cover device is provided. The device provides a functional and artistic surround to an existing switch plate cover assembly. The device is fashioned for insertion beneath an existing wall plate. A recessed inner lip of the device is adapted for positioning beneath an existing wall plate, the inner lip serving to cover any gaps between the existing wall plate and the wall, while also serving to lock the device in place beneath and around the wall plate. The device can effectively repair any gaps between the wall plate and the wall.

  • Publication number: 20190314077
Abstract: Catheter ablation systems are used to isolate the Left Atrial Appendage (“LAA”), or portions of the LAA, by using balloons. The systems deliver an ablation fluid such as alcohol in order to destroy the LAA tissue isolated between the balloons, deliver saline to dilute the ablation fluid, and remove excess fluid and particulates by suction to prevent excess residual alcohol from remaining in the LAA.

  • Patent number: 10183364
Abstract: Disclosures include a method for manufacturing a ball member usable in a flow control valve. The method comprises connecting a workpiece to a rotating apparatus along an axis of rotation of the workpiece, simultaneously rotating the workpiece about the axis of rotation and moving a rotating cutting tool toward the axis of rotation along a second axis to form a first curved surface having a progressively shorter radius with respect to the axis of rotation, wherein the second axis is generally oriented perpendicular to the axis of rotation, and cutting a bore through the workpiece, wherein one end of the bore extends through the first surface and the other end of the bore extends through the second surface.

  • Publication number: 20170233320
Abstract: A process for cleaning contaminated fluid includes combining the contaminated fluid with an acid and water to yield a mixture in which at least some contaminants in the contaminated fluid are insoluble. The insoluble contaminants precipitate to yield precipitated contaminants. At least a portion of the precipitated contaminants are separated from the mixture. At least a portion of the acid and a portion of the water in the mixture are separated from the glycol in the mixture to yield cleaned fluid.

  • Patent number: 9446485
Abstract: Ball valves and ball valve components usable to control the flow of fluids and methods for manufacturing said ball valve components. Ball valves include a ball member comprising two curved segments of like shape and size, which are integrally joined and disposed symmetrically to one another relative to the axis of rotation of the ball member. A bore extends through the joined first and the second curved segments, wherein the first end of the bore is located on the first curved segment and the second end of the bore is located on the second curved segment. Each curved segment is disposed symmetrically to one another, relative to the axis of rotation. The area of separation, between the curved segments, defines shoulders of like configuration, wherein each shoulder is located symmetrically with respect to the other relative to the ball member's axis of rotation.
