  • Publication number: 20180260580
Abstract: A computing device includes a network interface, a storage controller, a sharing tool and a protection service. The network interface communicatively couples the computing device to one or more computing devices. The storage controller is configured to access a plurality of digital payloads. Each of the digital payloads is associated with a plurality of access tags including content tags and context tags. The sharing tool is configured to share, with a recipient computing device via the network interface, a selected digital payload. The protection service configured to automatically control sharing of the selected digital payload with the recipient computing device based on determining that a prospective recipient associated with the recipient computing device has a work designation or a personal designation that is inconsistent with one or both of a context indicated by the context tags and a content indicated by the content tags.

  • Publication number: 20180245974
Abstract: Methods for replacing conventional light fixtures with solid state light fixtures are disclosed that can comprise selecting a replacement area comprising a plurality of conventional lamps. A sample of the plurality of conventional lamps in the replacement area is selected. The emission characteristics for each of the sample plurality of conventional lamps is measured. The conventional lamp emission characteristics are matched to emission characteristics of replacement LED lamps. All of the conventional lamps within said light replacement area are replaced with the replacement LED lamps. The emission characteristics of the LED replacement lamps at each of said locations of the sample plurality of conventional lamps are measured. The sample conventional lamp emission characteristics are compared to the LED replacement lamp characteristics to confirm that they are the same or are within an acceptable deviation.

  • Patent number: 9969206
Abstract: A marker storage accessory includes a main body having marker-engaging structure and writing surface engaging structure. The main body may also include cap-engaging structure or, alternatively, blocking structure. The marker-engaging structure includes a plurality of circumferentially positioned teeth adapted to be conformingly inserted into the complementarily shaped channels defined by the ribs located on the non-writing end of a writing instrument such as a dry-erase marker. The cap-engaging structure can include ribs creating a geometry adapted to conformingly receive the protruding end of a cap for the writing instrument. The blocking structure can be a protrusion adapted to prevent attachment of the marker storage accessory on the nub-end of the writing instrument while permitting attachment of a marker cap. When the marker storage accessory is attached to the writing surface, the marker self-positions to a generally nub-down orientation.

  • Patent number: 7013989
Abstract: Method, apparatus and article of manufacture for monitoring and characterizing the operation of a transducer (i.e., motor or pump) downhole. In particular, transducer RPMs are determined by analysis of acoustic information. An acoustical source (signal generator) located on a downhole tool (e.g., a drill string) creates acoustic energy which is received and processed by a receiving unit, which may be located at the surface of a wellbore. The acoustical source is operably connected to the transducer, so that the frequency of the signal produced by the acoustical source corresponds to the speed of the transducer. The acoustic signal of the acoustical source may then be isolated from other acoustical energy produce by downhole equipment, such as a drill bit. Having determined transducer speed by isolation of the acoustic signal, other operating parameters may be determined. Illustrative operating parameters include torque, flow, pressure, horsepower, and weight-on-bit.
