  • Patent number: 11941960
Abstract: A presence alert system (24) includes a sniffer (36), controller-circuitry (38), radio frequency (RF) background data (40), and a software program (42). The sniffer is configured to sample and measure a characteristic of ambient RF signals (33) over time. The controller-circuitry includes one or more processors and one or more storage mediums. The RF background data is stored in at least one of the one or more storage mediums, and is indicative of no moving presence. The software program is stored in at least one of the one or more storage mediums, and is executed by at least one of the one or more processors. The software program is configured to evaluate the measured characteristic of the ambient RF signals, compare the measured characteristic to the RF background data, and thereby determine motion of a presence (34).

  • Publication number: 20230140809
Abstract: A method of generating training data for training a Machine Learning based Task Contention Model, ML based TCM, to predict time delays resulting from contention between tasks running in parallel on a multi-processor system is provided herein. The method includes: executing a plurality of microbenchmarks, ?Benchmarks Bj, on the multi-processor system in isolation and measuring a number of resultant Performance Monitoring Counters, PMCs, over time to extract ideal characteristic footprints of each ?Benchmark when operating in isolation; performing a feature correlation analysis on the PMCs resulting from the plurality of ?Benchmarks to determine the degree of correlation between each resultant PMCs and the executed plurality of ?Benchmarks; selecting a number of PMCs based upon their degree of correlation between the plurality of ?Benchmarks to form a reduced PMC array.

  • Patent number: 11410478
Abstract: A method of operating an access control system containing one or more hierarchies, each of the one or more hierarchies includes one or more access levels is provided. The method including: computing one or more hierarchies; and assigning a primary access level of the one or more access levels within a primary hierarchy of the one or more hierarchies to a first credential; and determining that access levels vertically below the primary access level in the primary hierarchy are implicitly assigned to the first credential when assigning the primary access level of the one or more access levels within the primary hierarchy of the one or more hierarchies to the first credential.

  • Patent number: 11040851
Abstract: A method of controlling an elevator system incudes collecting one or more frustration indicators of a passenger during usage of the elevator system by the passenger; collecting one or more frustration factors; correlating the one or more frustration factors to the one or more frustration indicators to generate one or more preferences for the passenger; generating a profile for the passenger in response to the correlating, the profile including the one or more preferences; and controlling operation of the elevator system in response to the one or more preferences to reduce frustration of the passenger during interaction with the elevator system.
