Abstract: Methods and systems provide for applying a video effect to a video corresponding to a participant within a video communication session. The system displays a video for each of at least a subset of the participants and a user interface including a selectable video effects UI element. The system receives a selection by a participant of the video effects UI element. In response to receiving the selection, the system displays a variety of video effects options for modifying the appearance of the video and/or modifying a visual representation of the participant. The system then receives a selection by the participant of a video effects option, and further receives a subselection for customizing the amount of the video effect to be applied. The system then applies, in real time or substantially real time, the selected video effect in the selected amount to the video corresponding to the participant.

  • Publication number: 20240323555
Abstract: An image sensor device may include a pixel sensor array and a black level correction (BLC) region. The BLC region may include a sensing region in a substrate and a light-blocking layer above the sensing region. An anti-reflection array may be formed in the light-blocking layer. The anti-reflection array includes holes, trenches, and/or other structural features such that the light-blocking layer includes two or more areas in which the top surface of the light-blocking layer is at different heights in the image sensor device. The different heights of the top surface of the light-blocking layer reduce the likelihood of light being reflected off of the light-blocking layer and toward the pixel sensor array. The anti-reflection array may reduce the likelihood of occurrence of flares or hot spots in images generated by the image sensor device, which may increase the image quality of the images generated by the image sensor device.

  • Publication number: 20240323516
Abstract: Eyewear having an image signal processor (ISP) dynamically operable in a camera pipeline for augmented reality (AR) and computer vision (CV) systems. Multi-purpose cameras are used for simultaneous image capture and CV on wearable AR devices. The cameras are coupled to a frame and configured to generate images, wherein the cameras and the ISP operate in a first AR mode and capture images having a first resolution suitable for use in AR, and are configured to operate in a second CV mode to provide the images having a second resolution suitable for use in CV. The first resolution in the AR mode is higher than the second resolution in the CV mode, and the cameras and the ISP consume less power in the second CV mode than the first AR mode. The cameras and the ISP save significant system power by operating in the low power mode CV mode.

  • Publication number: 20240318541
Abstract: The present invention relates to development research of oil and gas fields, and more particularly to a method for determining transmissibilty in numerical simulation of oil and gas reservoirs on unstructured grids. Based on the core seepage experimental data and well logging data of the drilled wells, the method takes into account the centroid distance of two adjacent grids as well as seepage direction vectors in the oil and gas reservoir simulation, and then adopts effective seepage area and directional permeability of the interface between the adjacent grids in seepage direction to calculate the transmissibilty. The present invention further verifies the reliability of the method by a rectangular grid example (rectangular grid is a special case of unstructured grids) whose accurate transmissibilty values can be obtained. The method of the present invention is simple, easy to understand and realize, operable, effective and practical.
