  • Patent number: 8221016
Abstract: A device and a method for continuous and adjustable dosage of fluids at low pressure. The invention is self-cleaning and low tech. It consists of a tapering dosage unit in which a filling, which allows fluids to pass in the longitudinal direction of the dosage unit, is inserted. At the outlet end of the dosage unit, a venturi tube is located which clamps the filling and thereby create a nozzle opening that fits the fluids viscosity and the pressure for a given desired dosage. When the dosage unit clogs, a flushing can be obtained by either increasing the pressure of the fluid and thereby forcing a flexible dosage unit to increase the sectional area and allow cleaning or in the same way through a mechanical opening of the dosage unit.

  • Patent number: 7282155
Abstract: A device for filtering a fluid includes a fiber housing having an inlet end with at least one inlet and an outlet end with at least one outlet. The fiber housing surrounds and defines an outer bound for a plurality of fibers extending longitudinally in the fiber housing between the inlet end and the outlet end, whereby longitudinally extending interspaces is provided between the fibers, with the interspaces defining a plurality of flow passages for the fluid. At least part of the fiber housing is formed of a flexible membrane surrounding the fibers, and a compression tool is provided for creating a pressure on an outer surface of the flexible membrane thereby compressing the fibers in a radial direction at least one location along the length of the fibers.

  • Patent number: 7104530
Abstract: A device or apparatus for contacting a liquid with a gas is provided. The device or apparatus has at least one gas inlet for introducing the gas into the liquid and a fiber housing with at least one liquid inlet and at least one liquid outlet. The fiber housing is surrounding and defining an outer bound for a plurality of fibers extending longitudinally in the fiber housing, whereby longitudinally extending interspaces are provided between the fibers. These interspaces thereby define flow passages for the liquid and gas. There is also provided a system and a method for contacting a liquid with a gas.
