    Abstract: A regulating unit for a hot and cold water mixing valve includes a pressure responsive part having a piston slide 60, and a temperature responsive part which is influenced by a thermostat 45 and which includes a regulating valve body 50 which is axially moveable and optionally included in an insert which can be screwed into the mixing valve. The regulating valve body and the piston slide are mutually concentrical and one of these two components is received at least partially in the other.
