  • Patent number: 12231284
Abstract: Methods and apparatus in a fifth-generation wireless communications network, including an example method, in a wireless device, that includes determining a reporting quality threshold for a parameter related to channel state information (CSI); performing a measurement for each of a plurality of beams from a first predetermined set of beams for evaluation; evaluating the measurement for each of the plurality of beams against the reporting quality threshold; discontinuing the performing and evaluating of measurements in response to determining that the reporting quality threshold is met for one of the beams, such that one or more beams in the first predetermined set of beams are not measured and evaluated; and reporting, to the wireless communications network, CSI for the one of the beams.

  • Patent number: 9099238
Abstract: An insulation system for a winding structure. The insulation system includes an innermost barrier pair arranged to cover a majority of the winding structure in the axial direction of the winding structure inside and outside the barrier structure relative the curvature of winding turns of windings of the winding structure, wherein at least one barrier of the innermost barrier pair defines a first flow path allowing flow of a dielectric fluid mainly in a first axial direction between the winding structure and the at least one barrier when the insulation system is in a assembled state; and a first outer barrier arranged radially inwards or radially outwards relative each barrier of the innermost barrier pair, wherein the first outer barrier defines a second flow path, parallel to the first flow path, allowing flow of a dielectric fluid mainly in a second axial direction opposite the first axial direction.

  • Patent number: 8890005
Abstract: A high voltage arrangement for a high voltage power system has an insulating structure which reduces the creep path. The insulating structure is arranged around the second conductor and has a continuous extension in an axial direction from a first end thereof providing insulation of essentially the entire length of the second conductor to a second end around the bushing portion, which second end extends around the bushing portion at least to a point where an electric potential of an external surface of the bushing portion is at most equal to the average of the potential of the first conductor and the potential of the interfacing plane when the high voltage arrangement is in use.

  • Patent number: 8198967
Abstract: An induction device to be used in association with a high voltage electric transmission systems having at least one winding, at least one core frame, and at least one magnetic core leg arranged in the core frame. The core frame includes a plurality of core gaps including a plurality of spacers, and a plurality of core segments of a magnetic material. The core segments are being separated by at least one of the core gaps, and the winding is causing electromagnetic attraction forces to act in the core gaps. The induction device further includes at least one piezoelectric element arranged in one of the core gaps, and a control unit connected to the piezoelectric element. The control unit is arranged to provide an electrical signal for inducing vibrations of the piezoelectric element which counteract the electromagnetic attraction forces acting in the core gaps.

  • Publication number: 20080102257
Abstract: A paper- or cardboard-based security product and a method of manufacturing it. The product comprises a paper or a cardboard which is equipped with an identifiable security symbol. According to the present invention, the security symbol comprises a layer in the product, one which consists of a synthetic, electrically conductive polymer, the conductivity of which has been changed locally to form an electrically conductive or, alternatively, electrically non-conductive figure. Furthermore, a figure indicating the security symbol has been fitted on the surface of the paper or the cardboard product. A security product according to the present invention can be produced simply by first applying a conductive polymer, for instance in a non-conductive form, onto a paper, after which an acidic figure is printed in such as way that the area below the figure becomes conductive. The figure can be detected and in this way it acts as a guarantee of authenticity for the product.

  • Publication number: 20050264992
Abstract: An adjustable support for a portable computer or the like having a main or center board, side boards, and cylindrical stackers interconnecting them. The device is designed to hold a portable computer on the main board and to dispose it weightlessly in the lap area of a seated user by means of the side boards resting on the arms of the easy chair, or couch or sofa on which the user is seated. The distance between the side boards and the main board of the device may be varied by changing the number of stackers each of which have mating male and female ends to enable interconnecting them. The main board and the sideboards may have through-holes of two different diameters each: a larger one for receiving and rendering flush the head of a nut or bolt cooperating with a respective stacker end to secure the stacker rigidly to the board; a smaller one for snugly receiving reduced portion of the nut or bolt. The larger diameter portions of the through-holes only penetrate halfway through the boards.
