Abstract: The present invention relates to an anti-theft element in an anti-theft device which is intended to be attached to a theft-attractive article such that said device can only be removed from the article with the aid of a special release device. The anti-theft element includes a fouling-substance ampule which contains a fouling substance and which is disposed in the anti-theft element so as to be broken, crushed or otherwise destroyed or opened so as to release said fouling substance if an attempt is made to release the anti-theft device from the theft-attractive article without the aid of said special release device. The ampule (2) encloses a first fouling substance (B; D; G) having a specific fouling property, and at least one second fouling substance (C; E, F; H) having a fouling property which differs from the fouling property of the first fouling substance (B; D; G).

Abstract: The invention relates to a theft-deterrent device intended to be attached to and locked on theft-attractive goods and constructed to co-act with a release device (14) for releasing the theft-deterrent device from said goods (12). The theft-deterrent device includes a first element (2) comprising a base element (4) and a connecting element (6) which projects out from the base element and is intended to be inserted through said goods, and a locking element (8) which is intended to be attached to and locked on said connecting element such as to prevent movement in a direction away from the base element and therewith to hold the anti-theft device securely on said goods. The locking element (8) can be released from the connecting element (6) by means of a temperature-dependent change in form of a release-part (66) provided in the locking element (8) and comprised of a material that has memory properties. The invention also relates to a locking element and to a release device for a theft-deterrent device.

Abstract: The invention relates to a theft-deterrent device which is intended to be attached to and locked on theft-attractive goods (10) and which is constructed to coact with a device release means (8) for release of the device from said goods. The theft-deterrent device includes a first unit (2) which comprises a base element (3) and a connecting element (4) which projects out from the base element and which is intended for insertion through the goods (10), and a second unit in the form of a locking element (6) which is intended to be placed on the connecting element (4) and locked to said element against movement in a direction away from the base element (3) so as to secure the device firmly to said goods (10). The locking element (6) is constructed for release from the connecting element (5) by the action of a gasflow delivered to the locking element (6). The invention also relates to a locking element (6) for a theft-deterrent device, and to a theft-deterrent device release means (8).

Abstract: The present invention relates to an ampul containing a marking substance and intended for use in a theft-deterrent device for theft-attractive goods. According to the invention, the ampul (2) encloses an alarm element (8) which can be sensed or detected by an electronic alarm system and which is inaccessible unless the ampul (2) is broken, crushed or destroyed in some other way such as to release the marking substance (4). The invention also relates to a theft-deterrent device which includes such an ampul.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a theft-deterrent device which is intended for attachment to theft-attractive articles and which includes a first element (1) which is provided with a connecting unit (5) that projects out from the first element. The connecting unit is intended to be inserted through the article to be protected. The article is locked to the device by attaching and locking the connecting unit to a second element (2). The first element includes a fragile marking substance container (6) which is broken or crushed when an attempt is made to release the elements from each other, so as to release a marking substance contained in the container and therewith render the article unusable. The first element includes a base element (4) which has the form of a one-piece structure and which includes a recess (7) having an opening through which the container (6) can be inserted into the recess.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a theft deterrent which is intended to be attached to theft-attractive articles and which is constructed for coaction with a release device adapted for the release of the theft deterrent. The theft deterrent includes a first element (10) having a connecting element (12) which projects out from the first element (10) and which is intended to be inserted through an article to be protected, and a second element (14) which can be attached to and locked on the connecting element (12). The second element (14) includes a casing (16) which houses a fragile marking-substance containing ampule (44) and a locking unit (18). The locking unit (18) is intended to receive and lock the elongated connecting element (12) and to be brought into engagement with the ampule when the connecting element is manipulated, so as to fracture the ampule and therewith release the marking-substance contained therein.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a release device for releasing theft deterrents from theft attractive goods. The release device includes a deterrent detaching element (2) having a release part (6) which is adapted to the theft deterrent concerned and which has a release function. The device also includes a mount (4), which is firmly secured to an underlying support surface. The theft detaching element (2) can be locked in the mount (4) in two alternative positions, of which one position enables activation of the release function, whereas the other position prevents activation of the release function.

Abstract: A theft deterrent device, intended to be attached to a theft-attractive article so that it can be removed from the article with the aid of a deterrent release device in the possession of an authorized person, and such that any other form of removal will result in damage to the article concerned, includes a first element (10) having a connecting pin (12) which is intended to be inserted through the article to be protected, and a second element (13) which is intended for attachment to the connecting pin. The first element 10 includes a fragile ampule (17) which contains a staining liquid and which becomes fractured upon manipulation of the connecting pin 12. The ampule is positioned in such a way so that by applying a pulling force on the connecting pin in a direction away from the first element (10), the ampule will flex and break.

Abstract: A locking arrangement is provided which can be released from its locking state by means of a pressurized fluid, and to a nozzle through which pressurized fluid can be supplied to the locking arrangement to release the same. The locking arrangement includes a latch bolt (6) which is connected to a plunger (5) arranged for axial movement in a chamber (4), the plunger dividing the chamber into two, substantially pressure-tight part chambers (4a, 4b). The plunger (5) is biassed towards its locking position by a spring means (8) and can be moved axially to a lock release position, against the force of the spring means by a pressurized fluid, e.g. compressed air, lead into the one part chamber (4a). To this end, the aforesaid one part chamber (4a) communicates via an opening (12) in a chamber wall (13) with a fore-chamber (14) which is located externally of the chamber (4) and which communicates with the other part chamber (4b) through a second opening (15) in the aforesaid chamber wall (13).

Abstract: A hollow charge for causing a primary effect by making a hole in a target (1) and a secondary effect by charge material emanating into the target via this hole (1a) and causing a sudden pressure rise, fire, fragmentation, poison or a corresponding damaging effect within the target. The charge comprises a cavity (9) expanding in the burst direction and covered with a metal layer (10). At the initiation of the charge a forward directed penetrating jet (2) having a high velocity (v.sub.1, v.sub.2) is generated and also a slug (3) with a comparatively low velocity (v.sub.3). The charge further comprises an additional body (11) in front of or integrated with the metal layer for generating a separate jet part (4) at the initiation of the charge, which part (4) follows behind the penetrating jet (2) and is included in the charge material causing the secondary effect.
