Abstract: A computerized document management system is disclosed in this invention. The computerized document processing system is installed in a data-handling device for processing a document. The computerized document management system includes a document process monitor for monitoring and recording in the document a set of circumstantial events taking place in the data-handling device during a period of time as the computerized document processing system is processing the document. In a preferred embodiment, the document process monitor further includes an event display for displaying the set of circumstantial events taking place in the data-handling device such as sending the document as an attachment to an e-mail message. In another preferred embodiment, the document process monitor further monitoring and recording a length of elapsed time of a processing session and a total number document-process actions performed.

Abstract: A document management system is disclosed in this invention. The document management system includes a document reading means for reading a document having textual descriptions and at least a drawing consisted of graphic elements each with an associated alpha-numeral designation. The document reading means is further provided for converting the document to a plurality of processor-recognized elements. The document management system further includes a search and link means for searching the processor-recognized elements and linking each of the graphic elements with at least one associated segment of textual description. The document management system further includes a display means for displaying the drawing with each of the graphic elements displayed together with the associated segment of textual description.

Abstract: An improved method and document management configuration to allow a person to conveniently control a sentence structure by easily shuffling different phrases in a sentence such that better, faster, and more accurate document translations can be accomplished among a team of patent attorneys/agents in working together to draft a patent applications into at least two different languages. A novel document processing and translating program is provided to first process the document to select few sentences each with a representative sentence structure. A manual input is allowed for each of these sentences a “standard” translation with a correspondent “standard” sentence structure in a second language. These correspondent standard sentence structures in the second language will then be applied as a reference for translation to improve the quality of the translation.

Abstract: A wireless network system includes a central electronic-commerce (e-commerce) server with an electronic-commerce (e-commerce) engine that has database for providing a directory of user-location dependent goods/service providers (ULDGSP) for a wireless network user to survey and select at least one ULDGSP. The e-commerce server further includes a master server to communicate with a selected ULDGSP having a store manager personal computer (PC) to establish a virtual direct communication with the wireless network user by using a redirection means for redirecting a data of ordering or inquiries received from the wireless network user to the store manager PC. The redirection means may also redirect the confirmation or delivery information data from the store manager PC back to the wireless network user with the same stream socket connection, to enable a real-time on-line communication between the wireless network user and the store manager PC.
