Another method for producing D-tagatose is disclosed. The other method comprises isomerizing D-galactose produced by the foregoing method.

In the related art, there is a limit in lowering of the resolution below a half (d/2) of the width of a detector. According to the provided method, an image with ultra high resolution, which can jump over the limit, can be acquired. Further, since utilization of larger detectors becomes possible without a loss of the resolution, the sensitivity of the PET can be improved, and thus an image of higher quality can be acquired.
