Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for processing multimedia to provide a simulated experience where a plurality of remote users simultaneously view the same content even though one of the users is viewing the content at a different time. The method includes reading out information regarding user reactions to content during playback of the content, displaying a history of user reactions according to the information regarding the user reactions, and playing back a portion of content corresponding to a selected time point from the history of the user reactions at which the user reactions occurred.

Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for displaying various types of touch screen keyboards at various positions according to an information input condition of a user. The method includes recognizing a point on a touch screen which a reference finger of at least one hand of a user touches, and displaying a touch screen keyboard including keys arranged according to the recognized point. Accordingly, a user-based touch screen keyboard which can be easily used, allow information to be quickly input, and reduce touch error, can be provided.

Abstract: Provided are a terminal having a radio frequency identification (RFID) function and a method of processing information of the terminal for allowing intuitive interaction between a screen manipulation and an RFID manipulation with respect to using an RFID related service. The method of processing the information of the terminal including a screen and an RFID recognition unit, includes detecting a screen area corresponding to a position of the RFID recognition unit disposed at a predetermined position of the screen; displaying an RFID icon at a position of the detected screen area; recording information in an RFID tag based on the RFID tag contacting the RFID icon, and recognizing the information from the RFID tag the RFID tag contacting the RFID icon.

Abstract: A method of interfacing between devices in a home network control device includes dividing a screen into at least two areas, assigning a predetermined contents service function to each of the divided screen areas, sensing the position of the screen that an external device approaches and the distance between the screen and the external device reproducing content, and performing the contents service function differently between devices for each screen area according to the position of the screen that the external device approaches and the distance between the screen and the external device.

Abstract: Provided are method and apparatus for writing and reproducing a multimedia service using a tag in order to provide an intuitive interface for a user using a multimedia service. The method includes selecting a multimedia service to be written; generating tag information identifying the selected multimedia service; and writing the generated tag information to a tag. Accordingly, multimedia service information and content information can be stored in a tag by being written to tag information using a common format, and thus the user can later execute a service operation by easily writing information of a desired service operation to a tag and then simply connecting the tag to a tag reading device.
