  • Publication number: 20090200835
Abstract: A vehicle body with a laminated wall includes a first wall and a second wall that is fixedly attached to the vehicle body and provided with a plurality of receiving openings. The first wall can have a plurality of assembly openings each provided with at least one sub-unit so as to form a substantially complete sub-assembly of the vehicle body, and each being arranged so as to substantially coincide with a corresponding receiving opening when the outer side of the first wall is attached to the inner side of the second wall. The outer side of the first wall can be attached to the inner side of the second wall so that each assembly opening substantially coincides with at least one receiving opening to form the laminated wall.

  • Publication number: 20080315621
Abstract: A trim panel for the interior of the cab of a motor vehicle has a first and a second main direction of extension. The trim panel includes a first part and a second part, with the second part being significantly less rigid than the first part in a direction which is essentially perpendicular towards at least one of the directions of extension. The panel includes a continuous carrier made in a first material with a certain first rigidity, and the first part is obtained by letting the carrier material be exposed and visible, and the second part is obtained by means of a second material with a second rigidity covering a part of the carrier. There is a third material with a third rigidity arranged between the first and the second material.

  • Publication number: 20070077131
Abstract: A method of producing a tool insert which comprises a central metal portion having edge regions of superabrasive material bonded thereto and presenting cutting edges or points for the tool insert is disclosed. A body (50) having major surfaces on each of opposite sides thereof, each having spaced strips (64) of superabrasive material, typically abrasive compact such as PCBN or PCD, for example, separated by a metal region or regions, such as cemented carbide, is provided. Each superabrasive strip of one major surface is arranged in register with a superabrasive strip of the opposite major surface. Alternatively, each superabrasive strip extends from one major surface to the opposite major surface. The body is severed from one major surface to the opposite major surface along at least two sets of planes intersecting at or in the respective superabrasive strips to produce the tool insert.

  • Publication number: 20050123366
Abstract: A method of producing a tool insert having superabrasive cutting points or edges is disclosed. A body (10) of a hard metal having major surfaces (12, 14) on each of opposite sides thereof, such as a cemented carbide disc, is provided. Each major surface of the body has an array of pockets (12) filled with a superabrasive material, typically an abrasive compact such as PCBN or PCD, for example. A pocket of one major surface is arranged to be in register with a pocket of the opposite major surface. The body is severed from one major surface to the opposite major surface along at least two sets of planes intersecting at or in respective superabrasive filled pockets to produce the tool insert. The severing of the body is carried out in such a manner as to expose the superabrasive material to form a cutting tip or edge in the tool insert.

  • Patent number: 6006689
Abstract: The invention pertains to an arrangement for dynamic control of running trim and list of a boat, having at least one hull with a stern. The arrangement (100) has a housing member (102), an interceptor member (103, 103'), an actuator (105) and a power supply (106). The actuator (105) is arranged for displacing the interceptor member (103, 103') in a continuous linear movement between first (103) and second end positions (103') or vice versa in relation to said housing member (102), which comprises an attachment (104, 104', 104", 104'") for attachment to the hull. The interceptor member (103, 103') has a first portion (107) and a second (108) portion, wherein the first portion (107) extends essentially perpendicularly from the middle of the entire length of the second portion (108). The housing member (102) partially encloses the first portion (107) so that the housing member (102) firmly guides the first portion (107) during the linear movement.
