    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for quantitatively evaluating surface roughness of an organic pore of kerogen in shale. The method includes: making a shale sample; applying a circle of silver-painted conductive tape on the edge of the shale sample to obtain a processed sample; conducting image scanning on the processed sample to obtain a scanned image; determining a kerogen area according to the scanned image; determining an organic pore area according to the kerogen area; carrying out gridding treatment on the organic pore area to obtain multiple grid cells; adopting double integral calculation on each of the grid cells to obtain the areas of the multiple grid cells; summing each of the areas to obtain the surface area of the organic pore; and evaluating surface roughness of the organic pore according to the surface area of the pore.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a gene combination for expressing and producing terrequinone A in Escherichia coli and use thereof. The gene combination includes a tdiAS gene, a tdiBS gene, a tdiCS gene, a tdiDS gene, a tdiES gene, an sfpS gene, an ScCKS gene, and an AtIPKS gene with nucleotide sequences set forth in SEQ ID NOS:1 to 8. In the present disclosure, a recombinant engineered strain capable of producing terrequinone A having anti-cancer activity is obtained by separately constructing recombinant plasmids pC02 and pU03 through the eight genes and transforming the two recombinant plasmids into E. coli. The content of terrequinone A in a fermentation broth thereof is 106.3 mg/L, which has potential application value in the biopharmaceutical field.

The fixation and registration calibration system achieves fixation of the detected object for MPI, flexible spatial position calibration based on magnetic particles, and stable and reliable multimodal MPI.

The API key can be uniquely assigned by the IAM server to a first component of the first server. The first server receives a credential that includes a token for the first component and sends the credential to a second server. The second server sends the credential, a second server identifier, and an identifier for a second component of the second server to the IAM server. The second server receives an acknowledgment from the IAM server and sends the acknowledgment to the first server.

    Abstract: A method of setup a protection mechanism for scheduled transmissions to multiple stations is introduced. Through transmitting a control frame addressing to multiple stations for immediate simultaneous responses, the transmitter would know the stations that are ready for receiving the scheduled data frames and schedule the packet for those stations. Combining the transmission of the control frame with the power saving mechanism would allow triggering a group of power saving stations to wake up at same for receiving the control frame and scheduled user data frames. A new mechanism of simultaneous group responses to the control frame with orthogonal identifier information for individual station is provided to uniquely identify the responding stations.

    Abstract: A high-frequency composite impactor including a high-frequency axial and a torsional impact assembly is disclosed. The high-frequency axial impact assembly includes an upper self-excited oscillation cavity, a lower self-excited oscillation cavity, an adjustment block and a lock nut. The torsional impact assembly includes an upper end cover, a reversing switch, a pendulum, a lower shell, a lower end cover, a nozzle, a connecting block and a retaining ring. The high-frequency axial impact assembly converts the flowing drilling fluid into a pulsed jet to achieve a high-frequency axial impact. The torsional impact assembly enables a torsional impact through a shunt, and finally enables a high-frequency composite impact, which can effectively reduce the stick-slip of the drill string, jump drilling and other downhole accidents. By reducing the friction between the drill string and the borehole wall, the impactor can reduce WOB loss, increase the ROP, and improve the drilling efficiency.

    Abstract: In the past, several microchannel configurations were developed to realize two-phase cooling for high-power electronics, but these were limited to small devices with sizes at ˜cm length. It has been a challenge to implement effective two-phase cooling to large devices with a length of ˜10 cm due to notorious scaling effects. Here, we devised a novel channel configuration to achieve effective two-phase cooling on devices with an area of ˜10 cm by ˜5 cm or larger, which is the prevailing size of major commercial electronics and power electronics devices. In a lab environment, we demonstrated that the novel channel configuration can meet their cooling needs.
