Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement for fixation of a patient prior to a surgical operation, like hip joint surgery, comprising support units applied against a pelvis, wherein at least one support unit comprises a support/compression applicable across the pelvis, when the pelvis is placed in a lateral decubitis position for exerting a vertically applied pressure (vertical power) and also for positioning a patient.
