    Abstract: Aiming at the problem of slow crystallization rate of poly(ethylene furandicarboxylate) (PEF), a preparation method for a bio-based nucleating agent for PEF and an application thereof are disclosed. In a technical solution, glycine having a bio-based source is subjected to an amidation reaction with furoic acid under the catalysis of p-toluenesulfonic acid, followed by an acid-base neutralization reaction with sodium hydroxide to obtain a bio-based nucleating agent for PEF. The bio-based nucleating agent prepared by the present disclosure can significantly accelerate a crystallization rate of PEF. Most importantly, the bio-based nucleating agent has no effect on the bio-based properties of PEF.

Using a large language model (LLM), the flow generation service may decompose the natural language input into a set of elements (e.g., logical actions) and connectors, where the LLM may be trained on first metadata corresponding to a second process flow that is created manually by a user. In addition, using the LLM, the flow generation service may generate second metadata corresponding to each of the set of elements based on decomposing the natural language input. The flow generation service may sequence and merge the set of elements to generate the first process flow. In some examples, the flow generation service may send, for display to a user interface of a user device, the first process flow.

    Abstract: Wearable technologies for personalized monitoring require sensors that track biomarkers often present at low levels. Cortisol—a key stress biomarker—is present in sweat at low nanomolar concentrations. Previous wearable sensing systems are limited to analytes in the micromolar-millimolar ranges. To overcome these and other limitations, the present embodiments include a flexible field-effect transistor (FET) biosensor array that exploits a new cortisol aptamer coupled to nanometer-thin-film In2O3 FETs. Cortisol levels were determined via molecular recognition by aptamers where binding was transduced to electrical signals on FETs. The physiological relevance of cortisol as a stress biomarker was demonstrated by tracking salivary cortisol levels in participants in a Trier Social Stress Test and establishing correlations between cortisol in diurnal saliva and sweat samples.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a PET system attenuation correction method based on a flow model. The flow model adopted is a completely reversible model, the forward and reverse mappings share the same parameters, and the structure itself is a consistency constraint. The model utilizes the spatial correlation of adjacent slices, and adopts the structure of multi-slice input and single-slice output. The model consists of multiple reversible blocks, each of which consists of a enhanced affine coupling layer and a reversible 1×1 convolutional layer, and uses several small u-nets to learn the transformation parameters of the enhanced affine coupling layer. The present invention avoids additional CT or MR scanning, saves scanning cost for the patient, and reduces the damage of CT radiation to the patient; compared with similar methods, higher quality non-attenuation-corrected PET image can be obtained.

    Abstract: A gene related to biosynthesis of ergothioneine is provided. Based on five synthesis genes of ergothioneine in Mycobacteroides abscessus, only an encoding sequence of each of the five genes is retained, and a gene structure of an encoding region in each gene is optimized to obtain genes related to the biosynthesis of the ergothioneine that are stably expressed in rice. These genes have sequences set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 5, and encoded proteins thereof have amino acid sequences set forth in SEQ ID NO: 6 to SEQ ID NO: 10. The gene is transferred into rice to construct a transgenic rice molecular farm to produce the ergothioneine. As a molecular farm, rice seeds do not contain alkaloids or allergens that are harmful to the human body. Moreover, biosynthesized ergothioneine shows the advantages of easy extraction and processing and of low production cost.
