  • Publication number: 20160006719
Abstract: A user device stores first authentication information used to grant access to a resource associated with a first application, and configuration information relating to a second application. The user device receives an authentication request from the second application requesting second authentication information. Based on the configuration information relating to the second application, the user device determines whether the first authentication information contains some or all of the requested second authentication information. The user device generates an authentication response to the authentication request, using the first authentication information, and sends the authentication response to the second application in order to permit access to a resource associated with the second application.

  • Patent number: 9199327
Abstract: A portable IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) of high reliability, compact size, and low cost includes a main circuit to which a control circuit and an auxiliary power supply circuit are connected. The main circuit includes, in sequence, an input rectifier filter circuit, an inverter circuit, a high-frequency primary transformer, and a secondary output rectifier circuit. The control circuit includes a PWM regulation circuit, an IGBT driving circuit, a current feedback circuit, and a current setup circuit. The inverter circuit includes a full-bridge hard switching structure, which has IGBTs constituting bridge arms that are sequentially conducted, so that their alternating conduction converts direct current into high frequency square wave alternating current, which flows through the high-frequency primary transformer and is then subjected to rectification to supply an output of low voltage direct current.

  • Publication number: 20150147270
Abstract: The present invention features, inter alia, constructs for the delivery of therapeutic and diagnostic agents to a patient. The constructs can include a nanoparticle, a targeting agent that specifically binds a targeted tissue or cell, a therapeutic moiety, and a hydrogel. The constructs can be used in the treatment and diagnosis of bowel diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and colon cancer. In one embodiment, the therapeutic agent is a nucleic acid that mediates RNA inhibition (RNAi), and the invention is directed to treatments for IBD that combine the positive aspects of such agents {e.g., siRNAs) with the safety of a biodegradable polymeric delivery system to facilitate specific targeting of colonic tissues and cells. As the constructs can be formulated for oral administration, they are well tolerated and offer advantages with regard to patient compliance.

  • Patent number: 9013452
Abstract: A method activates different interactive functions based on a classification of vibro-acoustic signals resulting from touch events with finger parts of a user. A primary function is trigger when an interactive element on a touch screen is touched with a finger tip of the user. An auxiliary function is launched when the interactive element is touched with a knuckle or fingernail of the user. The touch events result in generating the vibro-acoustic signals. The vibro-acoustic signals are classified and used to distinguish what finger part was used based on the classification of the vibro-acoustic signals.

  • Publication number: 20140327626
Abstract: An electronic device includes a touch-sensitive surface, for example a touch pad or touch screen. The user interacts with the touch-sensitive surface, producing touch interactions. The resulting actions taken depend at least in part on the touch type. For example, the same touch interactions performed by three different touch types of a finger pad, a finger nail and a knuckle, may result in the execution of different actions.

  • Publication number: 20140310631
Abstract: An electronic device includes a touch-sensitive surface, for example a touch pad or touch screen. The user interacts with the touch-sensitive surface, producing touch interactions. Some of these touch interactions may be detected as indicative of a grasp for manipulating a physical tool (e.g., the grasp for holding a pen). When these touch interactions are encountered, a corresponding virtual tool is instantiated. The virtual tool controls an action on the electronic device that is similar to an action that can be performed by the physical tool. For example, the virtual pen can be used to draw on the display, whereas the physical pen draws on paper. A representation of the virtual tool is also displayed on a display for the electronic device, possibly providing additional affordances, at a location that corresponds to a location of the detected touch interaction.

  • Patent number: 8053470
Abstract: The invention discloses a process for preparing a polynuclear ferric hydroxide-saccharide complex, including: adding an aqueous solution of an alkaline substance drop-wise into an aqueous solution of iron salt at a temperature of 5-20° C. until pH 6-8, collecting the polynuclear ferric hydroxide from the reaction mixture by a conventional method; reacting the polynuclear ferric hydroxide with a saccharide in a solution of an alkaline substance for 10-40 hours at 106-125° C. under pH 10-12, resulting in a crude product having an isoelectric point of 4.4-5.3 and a weight average molecular weight of 20,000-100,000 Daltons, and then harvesting the polynuclear ferric hydroxide-saccharide complex from the crude product. The process can precisely control the molecular weight of the polynuclear ferric hydroxide-saccharide complex without an effect on the other characteristics of the product, for example its saccharide content or isoelectric point etc. Furthermore, it is very simple and readily applicable in industry.
