Abstract: A method and a system for automatically generating security lending matches between individual investors and financial institutions are provided herein. As most individual investors lack the time, expertise, or resources to maximize the full potential and value of their investment portfolio on a daily basis, embodiments of the present invention overcome the drawbacks of currently available services in the securities lending domain. This is being achieved through a unique model and process that turns securities lending from a complex and limited offering to an intelligently simple and accessible financial service, which an owner of securities can activate, fully customize and control on an ongoing basis in a simple intuitive manner.
