Abstract: Images and quantitative analytical data are displayed in an interactive manner to a user to facilitate efficient and effective diagnosis, treatment, and assessment of an abnormality or pathology. Images acquired over time, which may be acquired with scanners of various modalities, are registered, displayed in a single image, and comparatively quantified to provide historical analysis of a given abnormality or pathology. The historical images and quantitative data may then be analyzed to determine the effectiveness of an applied treatment and provide additional guidance for a to-be implemented treatment. The images may include anatomical images or functional images. The quantitative data may be displayed in an interactive tabular format or displayed graphically through histograms, charts, graphs, and the like.

Abstract: An image display system includes user configurable viewports for the review and analysis of image data. The user configurable viewports include a review viewport and an analysis viewport. The review viewport displays in a review mode, a plurality of image views of the image data. The analysis viewport displays in an analysis mode, a plurality of image views of the image data. The review viewport and the analysis viewport may be configured for simultaneous display of related image data.

Abstract: A method and system (10) is provided for collecting a substantial amount of health-related data to create an updated and reliable health forecast guide. In one embodiment, the system (10) includes a central server (14) for storing health-related data and creating the health forecast guide based on the health-related data. This central server (14) is coupled to a series of remotely located computer workstations (12), which send the health-related data to the central server (14). Additionally, the remotely located computer workstations (12) are also utilized for downloading the health forecast guide from the central server (14).
