  • Patent number: 11085149
Abstract: A clothing for a machine for producing fiber cement components includes a basic fabric having MD yarns and CD yarns. At least some of the MD yarns are formed from first multifilaments of a first material and second multifilaments twisted therewith of a second material. The first material has a higher tensile strength and a higher melting temperature than the second material. The MD yarns are heat-treated at a temperature between the melting temperature of the second material and the melting temperature of the first material, so that the at least partially melted second material forms a matrix after cooling, in which the first multifilaments of the first material are embedded. A method for producing the clothing is also provided.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 21, 2019
Date of Patent: August 10, 2021
    Assignee: Voith Patent GmbH

  • Patent number: 8317979
Abstract: A papermaking pickup fabric having two ends seamed together with a pintle. The fabric including a first plurality of monofilament yarns directed in a machine direction, a second plurality of monofilament yarns directed in a cross machine direction, and a plurality of multifilament filler yarns. The first plurality of monofilament yarns and the second plurality of monofilament yarns being woven together to form a weave pattern. The plurality of multifilament filler yarns are captivated in the weave pattern. The first plurality of monofilament yarns forming seam loops on each of the ends in a seam loop area, said multifilament filler yarns not extending into said seem loop area.

  • Patent number: 8241465
Abstract: A press felt for use in a paper, cardboard or tissue machine, with an open, load-carrying base structure which, viewed in longitudinal direction of the press felt, includes seam loops on one end, as well as seam loops at the other end, whereby the seam loops on the one end and the ones on the other end can be brought together for the purpose of producing the endless press felt and can be intermeshed with each other, so that a pass through opening is created through which a pintle can be guided, and comprising a machine side fibrous nonwoven structure which is located on the base structure and which provides the machine side of the press felt and which, viewed in longitudinal direction of the press felt, has one end section and one other end section, whereby when viewed in longitudinal direction of the press felt, the seam loops respectively extend at least partially over the end sections of the machine side fibrous nonwoven structure.
