  • Patent number: 11952887
Abstract: A plunger lift system, as well as a method for monitoring plunger parameters within a wellbore using such a plunger lift system, are provided. The plunger lift system includes a lubricator attached to a wellhead at the surface and a plunger dimensioned to travel through the production tubing upon being released from the lubricator. The plunger lift system also includes magnetic sensor systems installed along the production tubing, where each magnetic sensor system includes a magnetic sensor for detecting the passage of the plunger as it travels through the production tubing, as well a communication device for transmitting communication signals between the magnetic sensor systems and a computing system located at the surface, where the computing system includes a processor and a non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium including computer-executable instructions that direct the processor to dynamically determine the plunger position and/or velocity based on the received communication signals.

  • Publication number: 20110308218
Abstract: A stabilizer device for a lawn trimmer prevents back strain on the user while trimming. In addition, the present invention provides a stabilizer device for a lawn trimmer that prevents uneven cut heights during the operation of the lawn trimmer device while the user may stand straight. The stabilizer device for a lawn trimmer includes a bracket system adapted to be attached to a shaft of the lawn trimmer and a base connected to the bracket system. The base includes a vertical frame having a first leg and a second leg. Each one of the legs includes a plurality of retaining fingers connected to a bottom end. The plurality of retainer fingers work together to receive and retain a ball.

  • Patent number: 7210553
Abstract: An apparatus (10) for use in turning steerable vehicle wheels (12,14) includes a connector member (28) which connects a first end portion (70) of the rack (66) with a first steerable vehicle wheel (14). A second end portion (72) of the rack (66) is spaced from the second steerable vehicle wheel (12) and is free of a connection with a member which extends between the second end portion of the rack and the second steerable vehicle wheel. A force transmitting member (32) extends between the steerable vehicle wheels (12,14) and extends through a hydraulic motor (42). Upon rotation of a steering wheel, a valve connected with a pinion gear (62) effects operation of the motor (42) to turn the steerable vehicle wheels (12,14).

  • Patent number: 7131608
Abstract: A case for storing and winding a plurality of ratchet tie-downs removable from the case for use. The case includes a base having a plurality of compartments for storing first parts of the tie-downs. A plurality of reels are supported on the base for rotation relative to the base, each reel having a winding portion for winding a strap on the reel. The case includes a rotation mechanism for simultaneously rotating all the reels in a winding direction relative to the base thereby to wind the straps onto the reels. The case includes a lid for the case, the lid when in a closed position helping to retain the straps in the case. The case has a closed configuration adapted for placement on a retail store shelf and the lid having an exterior major side surface for holding retail information.

  • Publication number: 20060224524
Abstract: A method and system for publication is disclosed wherein a publication service provider offers a publication service to a sponsoring organisation for publication of independent and sponsor-specific dependent information to targeted stakeholders in the sponsoring organisation's field of endeavour or industry. The publication system and method may be implemented on the Web such that opt-in stakeholders gain access to the publications through a sponsored Website and/or through e-mail communications. In general, the publications will be prepared by the service provider, who also provides the independent information therefore, in accordance with a customized layout and/or skin established cooperatively with the sponsor to reflect the visual signature thereof. The sponsoring organisation, provided with optional and customizable readership statistics from the service provider, may assess the reach and efficiency of the publication service therefrom and reconfigure its participation in the system when needed.
