  • Publication number: 20190278645
Abstract: A method for diagnosing a root cause of failure using automated test equipment (ATE) is disclosed. The method comprises identifying a failing device under test (DUT). Further, the method comprises opening a test program log associated with the failing DUT and determining a time of failure by parsing through the test program log to find an identifier and timestamp associated with the failure. Finally, the method comprises displaying the test program log in a window within a graphical user interface, wherein a relevant section of the test program log associated with the failure is displayed in the window.

  • Patent number: 8438083
Abstract: A system and method is described for controlling user access to a carrier's shipping services for delivery of a package. The system controls the user's access to the carrier's services by either limiting the selection of locations from which a package can be shipped to fewer than those described by the carrier's service area, or by limiting the user's ability to select shipping service levels to fewer than those provided by the carrier. Such limitation may be by way of displaying only a limited collection of ship from locations and service levels, or by pre-populating and locking ship from information submission fields on a web page. The distributed-user shipping system may reside on a client server or mobile computer that is connected to the carrier's server and transmits various shipping location information and service level selections to the carrier to facilitate shipping of packages while controlling the scope of shipping services provided.

  • Patent number: 6502079
Abstract: A floating license enforcement method and system which enables an authorized user to accumulate time-based usage credit while a software application is in use under a valid license. In the event of a license system fault, the application remains accessible to the user, while consuming the usage credit which was previously accumulated. This allows the user access to the application while the license system fault is being corrected. If the license system fault is corrected before all of the accumulated usage credit is consumed, the application remains accessible to the user under the valid license and resumes accumulating usage credit. Therefore, the invention allows the authorized user to consume its accrued usage credit to bridge the time between when a license system fault occurs and when the fault is corrected, thereby protecting the rights of the user. At the same time, the invention prevents excessive unauthorized use of the application, thereby protecting the rights of the software vendor.

  • Patent number: 5495009
Abstract: Modified oligomers containing at least one internucleoside linkage of the formula Y.sup.1 CX.sub.2 y.sup.2 wherein at least one of Y.sup.1 and Y.sup.2 is sulfur and the other is oxygen and wherein each X is the same or different and is a stabilizing substituent are disclosed. These oligomers show superior binding properties and are thus useful for binding target substances in analytical uses. Also disclosed are improved methods for synthesis of oligomers containing linkages of the general formula --YCX.sub.2 Y-- wherein each Y may be independently oxygen or sulfur.
