Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a community-based recycling system and methods of utilizing same. In one embodiment of the present invention, a community-based recycling system comprises a first entity, providing recyclable material, a second entity, providing recyclable material, a load determining device for obtaining a qualitative or quantitative measurement of the recyclable material accumulated from both the first entity and the second entity, and a reward granted equally to each of the first entity and the second entity, wherein the reward corresponds to a value generated from the measurement of the recyclable material.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a system and method of providing incentive to recycle recyclable materials by providing financial incentives to consumers for recycling at a recycling kiosk. In one embodiment, a method of providing incentive to recycle recyclable materials comprises providing a recycling kiosk having a load determining device for receiving a quantity of recyclable materials from at least a first entity, obtaining identification data associated with the first entity, measuring the quantity of recyclable material received by the recycling kiosk, calculating a reward based on a measurement of the quantity of recyclable material disposed at least proximate to the recycling kiosk by the at least one entity, and associating the reward to the at least one entity.

Abstract: An electrical connector assembly for a fuel injector includes a receptacle and mating plug. The plug is formed with side channels within which socket contacts at the end of an electrical wire or conductor may be snap fit. The receptacle includes side loading wedges aligned with the side channels of the plug to place a lateral load or compressive force on the socket contacts. The plug is formed with strain relief wedges that place a vertical load or compressive force on the socket contacts or wire insulation and conductor held therein. The plug and receptacle are formed with a key and keyway for proper orientation. An external latch on the receptacle captures the fully inserted plug.
