    Abstract: An aeration system for aerating particulate material disposed in a storage bin. The aeration system includes an aerator forming an elongated hollow body for being placed inside the storage bin such that a longitudinal axis thereof is oriented substantially vertical and an air supply duct connected to the aerator for providing the airflow thereto. The aerator enables an airflow therein along the longitudinal axis and provides the same to the particulate material. The aerator is made of a plurality of modular sections adapted for being stacked upon each other along the longitudinal axis. Each modular section has a bottom connecting element and a top connecting element placed at a bottom end and a top end thereof, respectively, with the top connecting element being mated with the respective bottom connecting element of an adjacent modular section. Each modular section has a conduit enabling the airflow along the longitudinal axis.

    Abstract: A high capacity particulate loader having an intake hose on one sidewall thereof which communicates with a source of negative pressure formed by a multi-stage suction mechanism, to create a high suction, high volume and high speed air stream that draws particulate materials through the hose and propels them into a separation chamber where they separate from the air stream and are directed into a discharge auger assembly on the opposite sidewall of the loader. The multi-stage suction mechanism communicates with a separation chamber and/or a settling chamber, the settling chamber providing an area where dust or fine chaff from the suctioned particulate materials, which may be present in the air stream, can settle, through gravity, on a bottom surface of the settling chamber, thus avoiding contact with the blowers so as to prevent clogging of the blowers and rotor wear thereof.

    Abstract: A fluidizer for attachment to the vacuum hose of a high capacity particulate loader, for fluidizing particulates in an area proximate an end of the vacuum hose. The fluidizer possesses a compressed air hose for providing a stream of pressurized air, which is attached to a tube, the tube being mounted upon the vacuum hose. An interior of the tube defines an air passageway therethrough. An outer surface of the tube has a plurality of air flow openings defined therein which each extend between the compressed air passageway of the tube to an area outside the tube for permitting a stream of pressurized air from the compressed air hose to flow through the air passageway of the tube and out through the plurality of air flow openings to an area proximate the end of the vacuum hose.

    Abstract: An improved device and method for transferring grain or other particulates from a grain bin. The invention comprises an inlet positioned in a sidewall of the grain bin, and an outlet in another sidewall of the grain bin opposite the inlet. A grain transfer tube is inserted through each of the inlet and the outlet, the tube having at least one opening therein for permitting grain in the grain bin to enter into the interior of the tube. A blower for communicating with the grain transfer tube is positioned at an end of the grain transfer tube positioned at the inlet, and provides an air stream the tube. A suction hose is coupled with the outlet, to create, in combination with the blower, a vacuum force for drawing the grain in the grain bin to enter into the interior of the tube, and then propelling the drawn grain along the tube through the outlet to a remote location.
