  • Publication number: 20180097485
Abstract: A switch includes: an HPA bypass switching component that can be in an HPA bypass state and an HPA state and an HPA switching component that can be in the HPA bypass state and the HPA state. When the HPA bypass switching component is in the HPA bypass state, the HPA switching component is in the HPA bypass state. When the HPA bypass switching component is in the HPA bypass state and the transceiver is generating a transceiver transmission signal, the transceiver transmission signal is provided to the antenna and the received transceiver transmission signal is provided to the transceiver. When the HPA bypass switching component is in the HPA state and the high power amplifier is generating an HPA transmission signal, the HPA transmission signal is provided to the antenna and the received HPA signal is provided to the transceiver.

  • Publication number: 20070235618
Abstract: A portable easel is built light enough to be carried yet rugged enough to withstand continued out door use and has no loose parts to have to assemble. It is easily folded into a manageable size package, closed and held closed with gas springs. An elastic strap is employed across the closed legs to prevent the easel from being inadvertently opened. A shoulder strap is provided to carry the easel to remote locations. From a folded position an easy open portable easel can be set up easily and quickly by releasing the elastic strap and gently pulling the front legs outward to allow the gas springs to travel over center and push outward. There are no parts to attach or detach when opening an easy open portable easel After the basic frame is deployed, extend the telescoping legs and adjust the easel orientation and height, swing the upper canvas support bar and bracket out and up and push down to latch.

  • Publication number: 20070076818
Abstract: A system (500) and method (400) are presented for calibrating an analog signal path (200) associated with an Ultra Wideband (UWB) receiver (103). The analog signal path includes a plurality of analog gain stages (210, 212-214, 216), a local oscillator mixer stage (211), a compensation stage (218), and a converter stage (219). An information signal includes whitened symbols (306). When a predetermined number of whitened symbols are accumulated for one of a plurality of gain configurations, an arithmetic mean is calculated and used an offset value. The offset value is retrieved whenever the gain configuration is activated and applied at the compensation stage to reduce the offset.

The analog signal path includes a plurality of analog gain stages (210, 212-214, 216), a local oscillator mixer stage (211), a compensation stage (218), and a converter stage (219). A frequency offset of 4 Mhz is applied to a local oscillator signal to reduce a correlation between a received signal and the local oscillator signal. One of the analog gain stages is activated and an offset obtained at the converter stage is stored as a compensation value (243). The compensation value is retrieved whenever the analog gain stages is activated during normal processing and the compensation value applied at the compensation stage to reduce the offset.
