    Abstract: A submergible pumping system having a gas separator with multiple separation chambers. The gas separator includes an outer housing having a hollow interior divided into a plurality of separation chambers. A shaft and an inducer are rotatably mounted within the hollow interior. A plurality of flow-through bearings are distributed through the hollow interior to support the rotatable shaft. Also, a plurality of vortex generators are disposed in the hollow interior to generate and maintain a fluid vortex during separation.
