  • Patent number: 5823295
Abstract: A control system for lubricating a work machine is provided. The control system includes a lubricant distribution system, a charging system adapted to drive the lubricant distribution system, a sensor for determining the operating state of the charging system, and a device for calculating a time interval being dependent upon a previous lubricating event. The control also includes a device for producing a lubrication signal in response to the time interval reaching a predetermined interval constant.

  • Patent number: 4072324
Abstract: A counterweight mounting assembly has a counterweight mounted thereon and a shear pin is extended to dispose it in aligned bores formed in the counterweight and in the frame of the vehicle. When the counterweight is lowered for removal from the vehicle, the operator first pulls on a handle secured to the shear pin to retract the shear pin into a stored position within the counterweight. First and second stops are provided between the counterweight and the shear pin to hold the shear pin at each of its extended and retracted positions.

  • Patent number: 3930549
Abstract: A track-type vehicle comprises a pair of laterally spaced track assemblies adjustably mounted on a frame of the vehicle for movement between maximum and minimum gauge widths thereof. A guard assembly is mounted on the frame to fully cover and protect the motors when the track assemblies are positioned at each such gauge width. The guard assembly is preferably attached to the frame by three laterally spaced pin connections which further function to transmit towing forces to the frame directly.
