  • Patent number: 5827024
Abstract: A tie-down rail adapted to fit the top ledge of the sidewall of a truck bed, the tie-down rail comprising an elongated tubular rail having a substantially circular cross-section, and a hollow interior. In the preferred embodiment, the rail includes a planar top surface. Alternatively, the top surface may be slightly arched. The rail comprises open ends extending angularly downward and adapted to rest on the ledge of the sidewall. The preferred embodiment includes a pair of oppositely disposed flanges positioned in a plane parallel to the top surface of the rail. A rib projects into the interior of the rail from a bottom inner surface of the rail along a centerline. The rail further includes a bracket configured to be received within the end of the rail for attaching the rail to the ledge. The rail may also include a plurality of spaced apart slots formed along at least one side surface of the rail.

  • Patent number: 4974895
Abstract: A protective truck bed liner incorporating a plurality of spaced rib members in the bottom, opposite sides, and front liner walls of the truck bed liner, as well as their interconnecting juncture portions, in order to substantially reinforce the walls of the liner when installed in a truck bed. The rib members in the bottom wall of the liner are also provided with alternating depressions and lands to minimize slidable movement of a load received on the bottom liner wall, particularly during movement of the truck bed in which the liner is mounted.

  • Patent number: 4336963
Abstract: A truck bed liner including an integrally formed bottom wall, front wall and opposed side walls, in which each of the opposed side walls, and preferably the front wall, terminate in top edge portions forming outwardly projecting hook-shaped flanges adapted to snap-fasten over the corresponding top ledges and free rims of the corresponding side walls and front wall of a truck bed within which the liner fits.

  • Patent number: 4181349
Abstract: A truck bed liner comprising a tailgate liner having top and bottom hook-shaped flanges adapted to conform to and receive the top and bottom edge surfaces of the tailgate of a truck bed so that the tailgate liner may be snap-fastened to cover the interior surface of the tailgate, without any separate or independent fastener members. The truck bed liner also includes transversely spaced longitudinal rib members having widthwise dimensions greater than the width of any longitudinal rib members on the bottom wall of a truck bed, to provide longitudinal ventilation spaces between the bottom wall of the truck bed liner and the bottom wall of the truck bed.
