Abstract: A stand mixer has a vertical direction, a transverse direction, and a lateral direction and includes a motor, a head comprising a central shaft operably coupled to the motor and rotating about a central axis, and an offset shaft operably coupled to the motor and rotating about an offset axis, and a mixing assembly comprising a transmission assembly mechanically coupling the central shaft and the offset shaft, and a mixer attachment mechanically coupled to the transmission assembly, wherein the central shaft and the offset shaft provide an input motion and the transmission assembly generates an output motion from input motion, the mixer attachment moving in the output motion, and wherein the input motion is different from the output motion.

Abstract: A method for operating a stand mixer includes receiving, at a controller of the stand mixer, a signal indicative of a parameter of food contents in the stand mixer, and receiving, at the controller of the stand mixer, a signal indicative of an operating parameter of a motor of the stand mixer while the motor operates to mix the food contents. Then, determining, at the controller of the stand mixer, that a mixing operation of the stand mixer is complete based at least in part of one of the signal indicative of the parameter of the food contents, the signal indicative of the operating parameter of the motor, and time. Then adjusting, with the controller of the stand mixer, operation of the motor when the mixing operation is complete.

Abstract: Dryer appliances are provided herein including a cabinet having a lower panel and a drum rotatably mounted within the cabinet. The drum defines a chamber for receipt of articles for drying. A drawer is removably mounted to the cabinet and includes a front wall, a rear wall, and sidewalls extended between the front wall and the rear wall. The drawer forms a lint collection bin. A filter assembly is removably positionable within the lint collection bin. The filter assembly abuts the lower panel of the cabinet when the drawer is in a closed position.

Abstract: A cooking appliance includes a cabinet defining a cooking chamber, a door configured to open and close the cooking chamber, a heating element configured to provide heat to the cooking chamber, a camera directed at the cooking chamber, and a controller operably connected to the camera. The controller is configured to initiate a cooking operation including determining that the door is in a closed position, capturing a first image of the cooking chamber using the camera, determining an occupied state of the cooking chamber based on the first image, and initiating a timer sequence upon determining the occupied state of the cavity.
